“The food here is incredible. We have to come back to try a few more items. I had the Spicy tuna taco. Spicy is relative - I would rate the spiciness as a 3 on a scale of 10. Just a little heat to make it delicious. Service was a little slow but we didn't mind. We chose to sit outside since it was a little noisy in the dining room. Our choice was perfect - there is a ncie planter separatng the diners from the sidewalk traffic. We really enjoyed dining at Kojo.”

He genuinely loved and was fantastic at his job. Kudos to you Jay. Food. Insert drool emoji here 🤤 The presentation of each dish was beautifully executed and unique. The quality of the sushi and fish were phenomenal. Please see pictures. Management was fantastic. Marta was a pleasure to chat with, and she runs a great crew. 10/10 recommend. “I celebrated my birthday at Kojo with a group of five, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. We absolutely loved the food, the service, and the overall atmosphere. The restaurant’s decor is beautiful and modern, and one of the highlights was the open kitchen view, where you can watch the chefs preparing the dishes while you dine. Our server was extremely polite and attentive and did a wonderful job helping us with the wine selection, which made the evening feel even more special. Everything was well explained, and the service was warm and professional throughout the night. Overall, the combination of excellent food, outstanding service, and a unique dining atmosphere makes Kojo a perfect place for celebrations or a special night out in Sarasota. We truly enjoyed our dinner and would definitely return.”
