“Went to Solevo today for what ended up being happy hour. Haven’t been in the restaurant at all in quite some time so I wanted to go back. Atmosphere is excellent, it’s a smaller space but overall comfortable with a classic black and white ensemble. Many restaurants in Saratoga are on the smaller side but this has a very NYC vibe. I sat at the bar, had two great male bartenders take care of me and from what I could see the other waitresses on the floor were also attentive. Bar stools could be slightly more comfortable but it’s a tight space and they are trying to make all the room count. Had a glass of house red for $8. You could get a crafte during happy hour for $25 which these days are very solid prices. I was going to order something from the regular menu but the happy hour menu was so good that I couldn’t pass them up. I ended up with a jumbo shrimp cocktail ($15), meatballs ($12) and what they called a “workers meal” or something like that which was a breaded chicken cutlet and Caesar salad ($15) which may legitimately be the best deal in town for happy hour as it was delicious and the portion was on the verge of outrageous for the $15 price tag. Very happy overall, pictures below. Again the staff were great, hostess was pleasant which you may think is a given anywhere but I find more and more it to not be the case. She was cheerful and helpful. We have quite a few good Italian spots in Saratoga and I think if you put the whole package together against the other spots in Saratoga, Solevo stands out.”

“College reunion with a bunch of friends and our wife’s. Everything was delicious and homemade. Not pictured is our appetizers. Homemade mozzarella sticks “mootz” stocked antipasto salad with everything on it, and not to forget a dozen of oysters. Which were delicious but not shucked off the shell just an fyi. Most everyone ordered pasta except one dish that was a salmon and lobster combo. This place did not disappoint, portions were HUGE and service was excellent. 10/10”

“I’ve been to Solevo Kitchen twice now, and both experiences were amazing. The food is excellent and the service is great. I’ve had the chicken parm, veal chop parm, calamari, and the bolognese pasta, and every dish was phenomenal. For dessert, the olive oil cake is a must. Overall, it’s been a great experience each time. I definitely recommend making a reservation in advance, as they do get booked up. Highly recommend!”

“It’s a great dinning experience at the Solevo. The portions are generous, and the staffs are friendly and accommodating. One of the best lasagna I had in a while! The oyster Rockefeller was just ok. Overall a good Italian meal. Definitely be back to explore more dishes. The chicken scrap was delicious with crispy skin and heavy on spices. Street parking and lots too. Would definitely recommend to make reservations.”

“I would give a negative if I could based upon the principle of service for your reservation we had tonight. The food was great! But our reservation was at 6pm, we sat and ordered within 30 minutes both apps and dinner order was in. We never received our dinner till 8pm. Then they started to rush us and specifically a blonde hostess's in a satin blue dress. The waitress was great! The hostess kept coming over and grabbed our dessert or anything that was nearly finished rushing us within 24 minutes of food being served. 8:24 she is trying to clear the table fast and I completely understand we have been there a while but it wasn't our fault that it took 1:30 minutes to get dinner. I use to waitress and I get it, things happen and sometimes it can take a while and wasn't upset it took so long to get food. But after the hostess was removing things she was looking back and laughing like it was funny they were trying to get us out. We spent almost $600 for four people and the money isn't the principal, it's not okay to do that to a table when we weren't in control of when we received dinner.”
