“I stopped by Apéri in Tower Grove, a tiny wine bar that also serves tapas style plates. The place is very small, probably fewer than eight tables, which gives it a cozy and intimate feel. We went on a Sunday around 5 pm and there were already a couple other tables there, so I can imagine it fills up quickly at normal dinner times. I would probably make a reservation if planning to go at a typical hour. The service was excellent. Our server was attentive and really on top of things. We had the patatas bravas, which were good, and the croquetas de bacalao. The croquetas were a little runny for my taste. I usually prefer them a bit meatier, but they were still enjoyable. We also shared a cheese plate, which was a nice portion for a snack with wine. The wines we tried were very good. Overall, this feels like a great spot to stop for a couple glasses of wine and some snacks between plans. I could also see coming back and building a full meal by ordering a few different plates. I would definitely return.”

“This gem is the picture perfect spot for date night or hanging with a small group of friends. The menu items are creative and astonishingly flavorful. The music and atmosphere is super fun and the service from Danny at the bar was top notch. We’ll definitely be back to try more menu items!”

The Braised Pork Cheek and the Amarijillo were some of the best things I have had to eat/drink in a while! Our server went out of their way to give us a great experience as well. “We're in from out of town, and had an excellent anniversary dinner at Aperi. Highly recommend the Chef's tasting menu - many selections we might not have ordered, and would have missed out on. The asparagus and mushrooms were highlights, but everything was excellent. Mind blown by the mulled wine sorbet, and don't leave without ordering the cheescake. Thank you for a very special night and amazing attention!”

“WOW! First time having at Aperi and it was delightful. The chick peas caught my eye a while back but actually having them was such a dream come true. They make them really crispy and the other parts make the whole really good! We also had the Brussels sprouts and seared cod. Cod was a tad small but so flavorful! Sprouts were crispy and I really liked the glaze. Cannoli was so rich. 10/10 would recommend. Drinks were good. The Adonis had a bit of a tangy twist and Red Barrel was more on the sweet side - should have ordered that haha! Definitely coming back again for foods n drinks. A great vibe for an anniversary meal and the service was perfection. Thanks Aperi!”
