“Be sure to order the mussels in ale sauce and a sour beer- I did and enjoyed every mouthful. Had to request more toasted sourdough to sop up last pool of sauce. For dessert- ask for the bread pudding- I thought it was the best I'd ever had.”

“I have to say, this was the best food I’ve had in the area probably in my whole life visiting. My grandma lives in SC and my family and I were there for her birthday. After an early bird special with my grandma where most of us didn’t eat much, I wanted us to go have a real meal and this was absolutely fabulous! My mom actually realized once we got there that the restaurant is owned by one of her high school classmates and she remembered reading about the opening on FB. After seeing such great reviews on Google, I wanted to give it a try. I was impressed by the seasonality of the ingredients and the creativity of the dishes. You’d think with as many farms as there are in the area there would be more restaurants like this, but there really aren’t! Every single dish was fantastic and they also has a really impressive wine selection. Can’t recommend enough and would love to go back next time I’m in SC. Scott was also such a fantastic waiter and was so kind and welcoming. Also so helpful in guiding us to make sure we ordered the proper amount of food for our hunger levels. Love this place!”

“Glad to support farm to table restaurants. The potato starter was yummy and reasonably priced, but other items were a bit high. For example, I was charged $7 to add chicken - 3 little strips of one chicken thigh (that is a really expensive whole chicken then)! Overall the menu offers limited protein otherwise. They had limited staff the evening we went so no pizza, food arrived extremely slowly, and only one server for the entire top floor. Parking is very limited so you must park across the street at USPS. Atmosphere was cute, be aware upstairs bathrooms are incredibly tiny!”

“I made a reservation here specifically for a graduation and Mother's Day lunch a meaningful occasion that unfortunately didn't match the experience we received. Of the four of us who ordered the chicken wrap and fries, none of us were impressed. The chicken was cold and sparse, and the soup was lukewarm and lacked any real flavor. The fish and lasagna dishes were the bright spots and genuinely good but that made the inconsistency even more noticeable. The bigger issue was the wait. It took well over an hour to receive our food, and a table of five that was seated after us was served, finished their meal, and left before we got ours. With a 1:15 reservation we were there for well over two hours. For a special occasion lunch that's a difficult pill to swallow. At some point we overheard that our food was being retrieved from their sister restaurant across the parking lot which likely explains why it arrived cold. For a bill that came to over $350 I would expect food to be prepared on site. That's not an unreasonable expectation at this price point. One genuine highlight was the ambiance it had a real speakeasy feel that was cool and atmospheric. I would not go back if I am ever in PA for food, perhaps drinks.”

“Disappointing! I had the Fricase de Pollo. Described as Cuban style chicken quarters served with potatoes and Spanish style rice. It was a boiled chicken leg and thigh with white rice, a few olives, and some water cress - flavorless and not very good at all. No potatoes, zero flavor, and definitely not worth the price. No where close to the description on the menu. My son wanted the beef short ribs but they were sold out. He settled for the smoked duck wrap and fries - bang average. My wife got the catfish - she liked it. You want to support local establishments but this was a miss. If you’re offering a limited menu then have what’s on the menu. Three entrees, two appetizers, two beers, a glass of wine and a soda for $230. Disappointing!”
