“This was hands down one of the absolute best brunches I have ever experienced. From the moment we walked in, everything was spectacular. The atmosphere was perfectly curated, and the food was beyond excellent. A special shout-out to our waitress, Gigi, the talented chefs, and the manager—thank you all so much. We truly appreciate the incredible hospitality. Every single detail was executed to perfection, and we can't wait to come back!”

“I don’t hand out many 5 stars, but this restaurant deserved it. The food is excellent, staff super attentive and friendly, and atmosphere is quiet and quaint. It was a nice, warm day so we sat on the patio. We ordered the focaccia and ricotta , short rib gnocchi, and the spring risotto. All were fresh, full of flavor and superb. We tried the butterscotch mousse for dessert. Again, delicious! It’s definitely not inexpensive, but if you’re looking for good food, service and atmosphere, check out this place! It was our first time here, and we will be back!”

“We visited Flour & Stone right before the snowstorm and had the place entirely to ourselves. This was actually our fifth visit since discovering the restaurant. Our server was incredibly friendly and attentive, and another staff member checked in on us as well, which was very thoughtful and made us feel truly welcomed. We originally came for the seafood crepe, but due to the weather it wasn’t available. Instead, they recommended the tropical crepe, which we decided to try. We ended up ordering the tropical crepe, the farmer’s plate, and the rabbit and biscuit, along with our morning coffee. Everything was excellent. I’ve always loved this restaurant for what it offers, but this visit especially stood out. I don’t usually comment on my dining experience to the staff, but I felt compelled to let them know how much I enjoyed it. The food was absolutely fantastic. I’m very picky when it comes to food, and I truly had no complaints. The latte was great, and the brewed coffee was strong and full of flavor. The tropical crepe was a wonderful surprise—not overly sweet, freshly made, and honestly one of the best dessert dishes I’ve had at any restaurant. Portions are always generous, the protein balance is excellent, and I’ve never once left with a negative experience. Also very happy to learn that my favorite plate is coming back to the menu!”

“Brunch at Flour & Stone during PSU Family Weekend was a total win! The food was delicious, portions just right, and the Mimosas and Bloody Marys were perfection. The staff made us feel so welcome — such a great vibe all around. Thanks for making Family Weekend even better! We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!”

“This place was recommended by a good friend of mine, and I was excited to take my partner here for valentine’s day. I made the reservation weeks ahead. Ultimately, the food was really disappointing. We got two appetizers and two entrees, and the only dish we were happy with was focaccia with ricotta. The olives were extremely salty to a point it was difficult to eat. The amount of salt was the same on the chicken dish, which was a valentine’s day special. Gnocchi was okay - the gnocchi itself was really great with cheesy flavor and chewy texture, but the sauce on this was disappointing and also salty. I’m not sure if it was the cook that day or if this is how salty their dishes are on a daily basis. The host who I assume is the owner was really sweet despite short interaction. The server was okay, but it was not great that I specifically asked if they pace the menus to make sure we don’t feel rushed, which she responded that she paces everything and she really didn’t. We maybe had 15 minutes since we got appetizers before she came to us and said “are you guys almost done? the mains are ready and waiting” I’m not sure if her pacing was different from what I am used to. I definitely didn’t mean she put all orders at once and serve as soon as it’s ready. Their price is not very expensive, but I would still expect to have well-seasoned dishes and more professional service when I spend over $50 per person.”
