“The new Keepers Ocean Treasure roll is amazing. Has a hint of spicy; which we really enjoyed. It’s delicious. If you don’t do moderate spice, I’d ask the chef if they can make it mild. My family thought it was wonderful! The presentation was on point also.”

“Came here on a Friday night, table for 2 and it was pretty busy. I would recommend making reservations. Our server was extremely nice and recommended great dishes. If you’re looking for something not on the sweet side, I recommend the Lychee Martini. It was strong, but not too strong to the point where you can’t enjoy the drink. I do not remember all the names of the entrees i got. The yellow tail is the only one I remember and I would rate it a 7/10. I think if it was cut more thin, it would absorb the flavor more. I’ve gotten yellowtail before and usually it’s fairly thin. The sushi in the pictures I rate a 10/10. Overall I would come back! It’s a great spot to catch up with friends and for large groups. Also they have a great selection for happy hour!”

Even something as simple as shishito peppers shows restraint and balance, blistered just enough, kissed with salt, letting that occasional rogue spicy one keep things interesting. The sushi assortment rounds it out with a mix of clean flavors and texture; rice properly seasoned, fish fresh, rolls constructed with purpose rather than excess. And then, almost unexpectedly, the drink arrives; creamy, smooth, with a subtle sweetness that ties the whole experience together without overpowering it. “Keeper’s has an incredible variety of sushi, sashimi, nigiri, bento boxes and other specials. There’s so much to choose from that sometimes it makes it hard to pick just one thing from each section. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed the appetizers, the sashimi (tasted very fresh), and the new hand rolls on the menu. We both had Lychee cocktails as well and they were delicious! Service was nice and our server was pleasant and courteous. The noise level can get pretty high but we went in during early lunch on a weekday when it wasn’t too busy so were able to converse decently. The place has a nice, semi-high end vibe to it and I totally appreciated that the seats were well cushioned.”

“My husband and I had a pleasant experience here at Keepers. The star of the visit was the sushi. I especially loved all the salmon nigiri. The taste and texture were on point. I could tell that the fish was fresh. On some of the pieces, I did wish there was a little more rice as the fish overwhelmed the ratio of rice, but that’s just my preference. The appetizers were okay! I appreciated the agedashi tofu. It was hot and crispy. I do wish the sauce came separately as it does make the bottom pieces so soggy, but again, a personal preference. I was a tad disappointed in the karaage. To me, this was not karaage. It tasted more like a chicken tender. It wasn’t bad, but the batter and seasoning of the chicken didn’t remind me of karaage. Service was fine. No one was rude, but it didn’t feel personable. I get it, it’s busy. The best way to describe it was the job got done. Overall, I would go again and I do encourage a try as the sushi does carry this place!”
