“My business partner and I ate ramen here a couple of months ago and were so impressed that we chose Glo for our annual work anniversary dinner as well. We did the tasting menu and it was absolutely unreal. The hamachi and the surf & turf were my favorites. The fish was incredibly delicate and fresh, and the almonds + citrus in the yuzu sauce were such a perfect pairing that I genuinely had to remind myself I was in public and could not lick the plate. The wagyu melted in my mouth, and the little potato puff with the steak and lobster was the kind of bite you don’t forget. We also loved sitting at the counter watching the chefs cook. They chatted with us, explained ingredients, and made the whole experience feel welcoming and special without being over-the-top. I’ve told so many people about this place already, and I’ll absolutely be back soon.”
“Our food was fantastic. We got the shrimp Tempera small plate, kimchi shoyu and the waygu brisket shoyu. I’m gluten free and loved how they can make almost anything GF. My husband got the gf noodles so we could share and he said he couldn’t notice. Said it was the best ramen he’s had in Denver. We will definitely be coming back :) Thanks for a great anniversary dinner.”
“This place is super cool on the inside and had almost a bar vibe. Really cool spot and the drinks all looked awesome. Our server was also extremely nice and friendly as well, great staff. Unfortunately, the food itself was kinda of lacking. It’s more of a fun bar/asian fusion retro game vibe but the food itself was just hot and spicy and mediocre. The flavor itself was good but wasn’t anything amazing nor did it taste like traditional ramen. We got the cucumbers which were overly salty….the brisket bao bun was the best thing we had, very flavorful. The dumplings were ok, nothing crazy. But the ramen we ordered the kimchi and the deathwish, both had the exact same broth and everything only difference was one had a little kimchi in it. We both found it very lack luster for all the talk about this place. Decent, but nothing I’d brag about to anyone. But I’ll give it a four because some of the food was good and the environment and bar vibe give it a cool edge so I’m sure it’s fun after a few drinks.”
“Hubby and I had a nice early dinner here. We started with the dumplings off the happy hour menu and cucumber salad. Both were tasty. I got the kimchi ramen, which was also good. I wouldn't say it's classic Japanese ramen, as the broth lacked a little depth, but it was still good. Service was attentive too. I recommend a reservation, as it filled up fast even at 5p. Worth a try if you're in the highlands area.”
“Nothing I had from the happy hour really stood out to me. Some of the meat was overcooked and tasted burnt and the food just felt very basic and even a little salty for my taste. Wasn’t bad but definitely had higher expectations ! The bao buns and dumplings were my favorite! Didn’t care for the skewers. And the hand rolls were very average.”
