“I know this is a little late but my husband and I booked a reservation in April 25th not too hot and not too cold to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we had such a great experience. The moment we arrived the atmosphere felt welcoming. Our server Sydney was fantastic! friendly and made sure everything went smoothly throughout the evening. Our food was great! everything were beautifully presented. overall we had a wonderful anniversary dinner 🍽️ 😊”
“If you are familiar with Nobu and enjoy Nobu this will meet those expectations. Not really an alternative to Sushi Den. Menu is very different. High quality presentation and fun experimentation with the flavor in sushi rolls here. Many choices on menu if not in a sushi mood for other fare. But trust the staff for recommendations of non menu creations as the sushi bar chefs deliver very tasty alternatives. And don't plan on using any soy and wasabi. They will hide the excellent flavors. For sushi, I would focus on the roll variations. The fish is very good quality but The Dens flavor and quality of plain Toro is better. Wonderful experience. Grateful to staff.”
“My girlfriend and I visited for New Years Eve, and our server - Sam - led us through an omakase dinner with wine pairings. It was unquestionably one of the greatest meals we have ever had! Unbelievable food, and perfect wine pairings! Sam was incredible, and everyone treated us extremely well. We cannot wait to come back for another fantastic experience!”
“Decent Sushi restaurant in the heart of Denver. On the higher-end scale when it comes to atmosphere & price. There are other Sushi restaurants that offer just as good, if not better dishes for a similar price point. Our server continuously tried to upsell us on more expensive dishes any chance he had. And we both chuckled at the $8 singular Sushi chip. Be prepared to spend over $50 per person if you want to be "full." We overheard a couple at the table next to us say they're limit was $100. And the server jokingly said he would do his best to achieve that while still making sure they were full enough to not stop at a fast food place later. Slightly pretentious. But again, you get that from the atmosphere alone. Overly extravagant dishes that are more for show than actual enjoyment to eat. The amount you receive per each dish is small considering the price point. It would be a great place to go for a special occasion, but as I said there are other much more satisfying options available all around Denver. It was fun to try, but I wouldn't consider it being a regular place to visit. Adding to my review, the restaurant is also pretentious on Google by only replying to 5 star reviews and not addressing lower stars from people who voice real complaints.”
