Ciao! is an Italian restaurant in the Sylvania neighborhood of Sylvania.
“The staff is nice. Great vibe. Love the ambiance. I come here for the table side Alfredo.”
“Ciao! is a great spot if you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine. The food there is amazing and full of flavor. One of the highlights of our visit was the Alfredo pasta, which was prepared on a huge round wheel of Parmesan cheese. It was a really cool experience to watch, and the pasta tasted incredibly rich, authentic, and delicious. We also ordered the Ravioli Fritti, which was very cheesy and absolutely amazing. It was perfectly cooked and a great appetizer to start the meal. The portions are a little smaller compared to some other Italian restaurants, but the quality and flavor of the food definitely make up for it. The service was excellent as well. The staff were very attentive, friendly, and helpful when it came to recommending and choosing dishes. The atmosphere is also very nice and makes it a great place for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. Overall, a wonderful dining experience!”
“Wonderful dinner spot! It was cozy and fancy at the same time. Even with the construction it’s still so worth it! The guy who seated us was so personable and friendly while the server was accommodating, kind, and on top of everything. I got the chicken parm and it was delightful, I will say the noodles and sauce were lacking in the flavor department though. Otherwise the seating area is comfortable and spacious and they even had live music in the bar area that was just loud enough that the whole restaurant could hear it which was a very nice touch on a Monday! There’s high chairs and a changing table for small children although there isn’t really a kids menu. Cannot wait to come back and get the lamb chops which are the best in town! Also, the chocolate desert needs a round of applause.”
“It was a lovely place, good ambience. We loved the food. We had the catch of the day, it was sword fish. The quality of the service was just unbelievable. We got taken care of by a server named Mary and her attention was just outstanding. She took care of everything. It was perfect, definitely recommended.”
“I was excited to order some pasta and the wild mushroom appetizer. Came in and sat at bar. Nichole was the bartender. She gave me a menu and told me it was happy hour until 7:30. I ordered a red sangria and was charged almost $9 for it and it tasted like fizzy red wine was all. I then ordered the wild mushroom appetizer and waited for her to come back so I could order the seafood pasta. She dropped off my appetizer and never bothered asking me if I wanted to order dinner. There were a few other people sitting at the bar but it wasn't over crowded or busy. She went and talked with 2 elderly ladies and then proceeded to talk to another server who appeared to be off duty (maybe a friend). She never checked back with me on whether I wanted to order. The sangria was ok, but the mushroom appetizer was very greasy/oily. I'm guessing because I was alone is the reason why I wasn't paid too much attention, which is a shame because I tip very well. After I put my food off to the side I asked for my bill and left. I will not be returning for greasy food and poor service.”
