“I really enjoy coming to Hayward House.. Everytime I dine in the staff is so pleasant, I love how if they have the chance upper management will stop by to see if you are enjoying your meal or will see if you need anything. From Toni to Ashley… Blake & Steve they truly have made me and any guest I bring feel so welcome. I cant say I’ve ever had poor service but I will say after being in the food industry sometimes people have bad days, but I give second chances to get a full opinion. Will definitely be back again to try something off the new menu😌”

“Had a great meal here on a Friday night and would recommend it to anyone looking for a meal in downtown Tallahassee! Started with the salmon crudo, whipped feta with grilled sourdough bread, and their seasonal sangria, which was a white sangria with house made peach puree. My husband had the French dip sandwich with fries as his main and I had a shaved Brussel salad with an added strip steak. We finished with the tiramisu trifle, drip coffee, and the nitro cold brew coffee martini. We chose to sit outside because the weather was beautiful, but be prepared that on a Friday night during the school year, you’re going to hear every single song bumping at full volume from the club two doors down (made for enjoyable people watching but I could understand how it wouldn’t be enjoyable to some people). Our server, Amanda, was wonderful, kind, and helped make some great recommendations when needed. If I could reasonably eat 20 of the tiramisu trifles in a single sitting, I would. Do NOT skip out on this or the whipped feta cheese.”

“The experience was well below average, considering the price. Every member of our party ordered the steak frites; regrettably, the accompanying fries were served cold and the steak was overcooked. Even after sending it back it was subpar. Furthermore, the service was disappointing , with considerable delays in all aspects, from getting our food order, receiving our drinks (which arrived after our food), and collecting our bill. Overall, the meal was, at best, unremarkable.”
