Tabla is a Mediterranean restaurant in the Tannersville neighborhood of Tannersville.
“The new Chef Wolfgang Ban is fantastic, 5 star chef right from manhattan to hunter; pasta was one of the best I’ve ever had, chicken was crispy and juicy, all the sauces were out of this world”
“I really liked this place for dinner. Very tasty food, nice atmosphere, and people around. The person at the door seemed to have a bit of an attitude, but our waitress was very kind and sweet to my kids. Fast service, I would definitely go back. Also the upper floor has really cozy decor, makes for a really nice environment for dinner”
“Tabla has so much potential to be a great option for dinner, honestly it could be the best place to go in the area. The service is a bit of a let down, I understand what the other reviews are saying. It basically feels like you’re not welcome and bothering the people working here since you have to ask to order, get a menu, or just to be seen. Things are a bit slow but the food was good. The vibe inside is also cozy and intimate which is perfect for a cold day. Hope the friendly vibe can come here because this would easily be an amazing place to grab a bite to eat.”
“The food was good, but portions felt a bit small. Be aware that the restaurant adds a 10% Living Wage Fee, and large parties are also charged an automatic 20% gratuity. Given the service we received, the additional charges made the overall experience feel less worthwhile than expected.”
“Ugh! I wanted to like this place so bad after having some not so great dinners during our weekend stay in Tannersville. I got the broccoli rabe & sausage over cavatalli and my husband got the chicken parm. To start we had whipped ricotta with honey and pita. Dessert was tiramisu. My husband got two old fashioneds and I got a mocktail. Total was $160. We weren't certain on how we should tip with the living wage fee, so we threw another 10% on the bill. The pricing for all we got wasn't bad, though we are used to Connecticut prices. The food just wasn't great. The sausage used in the pasta dish had no distinct flavor. The dish was spicy (red pepper flakes), but there weren't any other flavors in it to mention. The chicken parm was fine. The tiramisu was good flavor wise, but it was pretty dry. Best part was the appetizer. Service was great, though. The blonde waitress running the show was hustling and we never went too long without being checked on.”
