“Experienced Tabu for the first time last night & was blown away. It was my best friend’s 33rd birthday and the service was outstanding. When we received our dinner they accidentally brought out an additional chicken enchilada, but the owner was very nice and said he wanted us to try the dish. We also had 2 rounds of complimentary shots and a free dessert. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful ambiance and delicious food. The food was very tasty and the fish was so fresh ! The server Nicolas was great !”

“I had such a great experience at Tabú in Brooklyn. Everything from start to finish was amazing. The service was attentive and welcoming, the food was absolutely delicious, and the ambiance made the whole experience even better. The atmosphere is vibrant yet comfortable, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a great meal. They also have a huge tequila selection, which was really impressive. The servers were incredibly knowledgeable about it and helped guide us through different options, which made the experience even more fun and unique. You can really tell they care about the quality of both their food and their guests’ experience. I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to eat in Brooklyn.”

“This was an amazing experience. It's a great restaurant for date night, girls night, or a birthday celebration. Daniella was so welcoming and kind to us. She recommended amazing tasty drinks, the corn, guac and crab tostada were good appetizers. The talum rice as a main dish with shrimp, the abuela's rice as a side, the shrimp/steak tacos and fish tacos were delicious 😋. The food all around was top notch. I've tried many churros but these churros for dessert were 10 out of 10. The texture, the bite, the softness and the strawberry jam to dip them in was delightful. And the tres leche was not too sweet but just right with all the different milks, I could have had the entire one myself if I didn't have to share with my friends lol. It was a great birthday celebration dinner.”

“⭐⭐⭐☆☆ I really wanted to enjoy this place, but overall I left disappointed. My biggest issue was the portion sizes. My entrée looked like it was meant for a child—literally one scoop of rice with barely any beans. While the flavor of my entrée was actually the best part of the meal, the serving was way too small for the price. The elote tasted like it had been left on the char grill for too long, and the tuna tostadas were honestly the worst part of the meal—they had an unpleasant taste that made them hard to eat. The service also left a lot to be desired. We waited forever just to be acknowledged and have our order taken. The first two appetizers eventually came out, but the third appetizer didn’t arrive until the same time as our entrées, which completely defeats the purpose of ordering appetizers. When we asked about the delay, our server said, “We have a lot of people seated outside, sorry for the delay.” But after looking outside, there were only about four occupied tables. It made us feel like the guests dining inside weren’t a priority. Overall, the entrée itself had good flavor, but between the tiny portions, disappointing appetizers, and slow service, I expected much better. I hope they improve because the restaurant definitely has potential. The aesthetic was beautiful but that watermelon drink was absolutely horrible smh”

“Looks and aesthetic is there it looks nice inside but that’s it food is literally horrible , if you like Mexican food like I do you will not like this food which says a lot. Music is too loud to even hear your waiter. Menu is extremely small, basic and not palatable if you wanna look cool for social media you can come here but other then that you will not have a good restaurant experience. They serve tap water in premium aqua panna bottles and charge for it without even asking if you want to pay for water. This is suitable for a date at the bar only unless they change the entire kitchen out.”
