“I just left this restaurant and HAD to leave a review. We arrived at approximately 8:15, worried that it might be too late for us to sit and eat especially due to the weather, it was raining and only one other car was in the parking lot. We didnt realize it was the owner in the other car, he walked us in and turned back on the lights and sat us down to eat. The customer service was already top tier upon first impressions, many places wouldve told us they were closed and cant serve us, not this establishment, they went out of thier way to accommodate us even though it was already late. The owner is super sweet and an amazing person, we sat, ate, talked and just enjoyed amazing food.. almost like you would at mom or grandma's house. Very warm, friendly and inviting. The food was absolutely amazing!! We ordered meatballs for the appetizer and it definitely lived up to its hype!! I can see why they were voted the best meatballs!! Then we ordered the surf and turf and lobster tail scampi for our main course. The lobster was cooked to perfection, the steak made perfectly medium rare and the risotto was delicious!! We have not one single complaint about our whole experience. They've definitely gained two regular customers!! We're so happy we stopped by and tried them out. Whoever is considering trying this place, I urge you to go!! You WON'T be disappointed!”

“What an incredible experience. This family-owned restaurant serves some of the most authentic Italian food I’ve had in a long time. Not only was the food outstanding, but the hospitality was something special. The owner took the time to sit with us, get to know us, and make us feel like family. His wife, whom the restaurant is named after, even joined us for a glass of wine, which made the evening that much more memorable. The award-winning meatball absolutely lived up to the hype, and every dish at our table was exceptional. I couldn’t resist trying bites of everyone’s meal, and every single plate was top-notch, flavorful, and clearly made with care and tradition. If you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine, warm hospitality, and a dining experience that feels personal, this place is a must-visit. We will definitely be back!”

“Bang bang calamari, oysters rockefeller, filet mignon, stuffed flounder and crabmeat & shrimp burrata ravioli were ALL delicious! Enjoyed tartufo and chocolate lava cake as well. Will be returning.”

“Shannon was wonderful. The food was excellent. The restaurant itself is very cozy, nicely decorated and a convergence of upscale and casual. It was my first time here with my mother for her 70th. birthday, I was very impressed with the menu and the specials, including the 3-course special on Tuesdays and Wednesdays which I opted out of but I'm glad it exists so I can visit more casually and not always for an occasion or pricey dinner. Osso Bucco was amazing, seared tuna app, calamari, and mussels were flavorful and what I expected or more. Crab stuffed flounder was a hit with my mother, and the banana cake dessert although I was too full to indulge in its entirety was delicious. Thank you Shannon and thank you to the management for giving Tom's River a pleasant option for a nice dinner.”
