“Service and food were 5 stars! Loved the margherita pizza, broccolini, and creamy polenta. Excellent and unique options for Italian wine by the glass. Service was top notch from when we entered the restaurant to finish. Bar seating item for awareness: Only issue was being seated at the end of the bar which was extremely warm because it was closer to the oven (when I'm hot I don't eat a lot). And I was sitting next to the takeout pickup and some other prep which was distracting. I'd definitely go back but opt not to sit there.”

“Delicious pasta and pizza are served at this relatively new addition to the Truckee food scene. Tucked away in an unassuming business plaza, the menu here was created a former chef from SF’s Flour & Water. Everything tasted fresh and lovingly prepared, and even though the pasta and the pizza were very tasty, the grilled branzino was possibly even better! We loved the quaint ambiance, along with the friendly and efficient service. Large free parking lots on both sides of the restaurant. We will definitely be back for more!”

“Pretty impressed overall with this restaurant. The service was excellent and the food was pretty good. The prices are what you would expect from a tourist town but overall very pleased with everything. Portion sizing was good. Bathrooms were clean.”

“Ate here for a family dinner and was amazed. My family had eaten here before and had nothing but good things to say about the restaurant. Therefore my expectations were high, but nevertheless I was still shocked by how lovely of a time I had. Everything about this restaurant is great, from the service to the food, it was a wonderful experience. Out server was very friendly and had a great vibe. The food was delicious. We got the pizza of the day (veggie pizza) and many different pasta dishes. The triangoli was definitely the best and a hit with my family. This was definitely a family dinner for the books, thank you.”

“It feels more like a pizza-focused restaurant than a pasta-driven one. The pasta, considering the price (which is on par with well-known pasta spots in San Francisco), lacks some finesse and detail, and it’s a bit disappointing that the noodles aren’t house-made for the price. The texture is too starchy. I noticed that they tend to cook the pizza and most of dishes well-done. Overall, though, it may well be the most upscale Italian restaurant in Truckee. Just being able to enjoy food of San Francisco–level quality in this town makes it well worth a visit.”
