“We’ve gone twice and both times it has been absolutely exquisite. The pork and ricotta meatballs are a must try, along with the grand mariner cake for dessert. Wonderful atmosphere and the perfect place for a fancy date night. Will be coming here again for sure.”
“Bravo VP!! The Vintage Press catered the most fabulous 75th wedding anniversary celebration for my parents. The private room was inviting and intimate with a stunning mural as a backdrop that added to the ambience. The entrees were plated to perfection and the food was heavenly. The service and attention to detail were spot on. They were attentive to every need of our guests. Our family is beyond grateful to David V and his team for making this event so memorable.”
“My husband and I were in town shopping. He was looking for places to grab something to eat. He came across TVP and wanted to try it out. I was hesitant because it said fine dining and we were nowhere near dressed for fine dining. He insisted. We walked in on a Sunday during brunch. We were greeted with a smile and immediately seated. The attentive ladies whom I did not get names, were amazing! Richard was nice with the piano keys and greeted us as he was making his exit. Now, for the food. I can tell you how delicious it was or you can come and see for yourselves. Which I recommend y'all do!”
“Nestled in Visalia, The Vintage Press is a true gem that offers an unforgettable dining experience. The beautiful garden out front sets a serene tone, while inside, the old-world eclectic charm, soft lighting, and unique piano player create a warm, inviting atmosphere. The service is impeccable, with every detail thoughtfully attended to. The wine list is extensive, and the whiskey selection is equally impressive. As for the food, it’s nothing short of outstanding. My husband had the swordfish, which was perfectly flaky and tender, while I enjoyed the filet mignon, which melted like butter and was topped with a delicious Béarnaise sauce. We started with freshly baked bread with a crisp, golden crust. While we skipped appetizers this time, in the past, the oysters on the half shell were phenomenal, and the wedge salad we had this visit was to die for. I’ve also had the lamb shank here, which was prepared exquisitely. The Vintage Press holds a special place in our hearts—it was where my mom celebrated her 75th birthday, not knowing it would be her last. A week ago, my husband brought me here for my own birthday, making it a place full of cherished memories. If you’re in Visalia, The Vintage Press is a must-visit!”
“Ordered carry out. Got home to find out ingredients were missing; no strawberries, no feta cheese, no rice pilaf! Bread was extra salty. Was late for pick up but had to wait because they had go and buy bags?! Save your money.”
