Pikio Taco’s ethos centers on corn. Guests can expect all the tacos to be served on corn tortillas freshly made in-house using masa from corn sourced directly from family-owned farms in the state of Oaxaca in southern Mexico. The innovative Mexican-inspired cocktail menu complements the authentic fare.
“This place exceeded expectations. Everything was amazing. The staff was friendly and the chef on point. The most delicious burrito bowl ever and the margaritas perfection. I only wish they were in my home town as well. Great find.”
“Pikio Taco in Washington DC is a must-visit for food lovers! The Mexican Cheeseburgers are a standout, perfectly blending juicy beef with zesty toppings that create an explosion of flavor. Each bite is a delicious fusion of classic and Mexican cuisine. The well-stocked bar complements the menu beautifully, offering a fantastic selection of cocktails and craft beers. The lively ambiance and attentive service make it an ideal spot for a fun night out with friends or family!”
“Great atmosphere and cool restaurant. The place has a great vibe and the inside is really nice. The food was delicious! Between all of us, we had tacos, shrimp ceviche, and a rice bowl and enjoyed all of it. Great drinks, too 😉”
“This was a HUGE surprise… such a hidden gem. Literally the best Mexican food I’ve had in dc - it should be it’s own free standing restaurant because I never would have gone in to try it if I weren’t staying at the hostel. They use Oaxaca cheese - SO yummy. The ceviche was INCREDIBLE! And a fun little vibe with little photo ops. It was empty when we were there and seems like people don’t know how tasty this place is but I would totally go back and highly recommend for the food! I wasn’t super impressed with the drinks but they were cute! I came here in September and have been thinking about it a lot haha! Finally doing the review because this place is so good!”
“I went for a comedy show. Food wasn’t great, and their online menu is very dated. Staff was fine, but they didn’t have table service. The atmosphere I did enjoy, it was a comedy show”
