“I enjoyed this place. Came out for brunch. Servers were nice and the portions were perfect. Side rant. DC, so you know how to shovel snow? Like that was a northeast low-level snowing, and you just had to pick it up or push it. Neither was done. Big surprise! It froze and stayed for 3 weeks. Do better. This is a pedestrian city.”

“One of my favorite neighborhood spots! Love coming here for Monday all night happy hour, bottomless brunch, Wednesday pasta night, and everything in between. Food is great. I’ve come here for big group dinners, solo meals, and have never had a bad experience. Wise to make a reservation on weekends since it is on the smaller side but there’s also a covered patio that is comfortable for all seasons. Special shoutout to Dalante who is one of the best and nicest bartenders ever!”

“After seeing a reel on Instagram for the Bar Charley happy hour steak frites, my husband & I wanted to swing by & try them. It’s a good happy hour experience! Definitely worth it for an easy, inexpensive meal. The interior & the ambiance feel a bit “dive-y,” but the steak frites portion is decent, for $19 apiece. I had the seasonal cocktail Something Pink, which was French 75-adjacent, & tasty! J.M. was our bartender, & he was great!”

“Went in for all-day happy hour Monday afternoon. Was told by a friend they have a $20 steak frites special that’s pretty good so decided to check it out. Drinks were tasty and steak was cooked to perfection. The bartender taking care of me was very nice and she was very attentive. Had literally no complaints at all. However, towards the end of my visit I did witness an ugly exchange between the bartenders. The male bartender was aggressive and it was very upsetting to watch. Very far from professional being that it was out in the open in front of myself and other customers in the bar area. Witnessing that made me very anxious and uneasy so I left very quickly thereafter. To my original bartender: I am so sorry you were treated that way and for what it’s worth I think you were doing a great job. I hope you are treated with much more dignity and respect apart from that and moving forward. ❤️”
