Named after the beloved chef Bill Jackson, Jackson's is a nostalgic nod to mid-century Americana with comfort food classics and some unexpected twists (a la sushi) in an upbeat 1940s dinner house.
“This place blew our minds. It was so delicious, the vibe charming & lively, and the service was top notch. The fresh community bread basket is $1 and they donate $1 to a community kitchen. Our server Jin was super friendly and gave us the best recommendations. Snatched photos of the deviled eggs and street corn queso appetizers, but they were so good and our main course so delish (steak & fries, mahi mahi, grilled chix havarti sandwich, and kids cheeseburger) that we didn't even remember to get photos of those.”
“Our waiter was awesome. Great customer service and informative of the food options. The cheeseburger was delicious. Even being cooked well done the meat was still juicy. The spicy tuna roll was the best. The tuna was smoky and savory, the flavor along with the avocado blended perfectly. The bread pudding was to die for. Very moist with a caramel inside. The lemon drops were also good.”
“Great food. Great service. I had the crab cake sandwich with fries for dinner and a lemon pie for dessert. Crab cake was plenty of crab with minimal fillers and the lemon pie was the best. The server was really attentive and on point (forgot her name. Sorry I'm bad with names first time meeting). Definitely would recommend and come back.”
“First time at Jackson's MFF. We ordered Volcano Roll, Crispy Fish Tacos, and for me, Ozzie's Brick Chicken. Our bartender/server took great care of us btw. Food was very delicious but the portions were a bit small; this being lunch time, perhaps larger on their dinner menu. I especially enjoyed the old style motif.”
