“Great spot in Georgetown! Came with friends and really enjoyed the food, waterfront view, and atmosphere. Service was amazing. Our server was super sweet and attentive. I also love coming here to sit at the bar and watch games. Such a fun vibe, especially for sports nights. Would definitely come back!”
“Nick’s Riverside Grill boasts a great location right on the Georgetown waterfront, offering beautiful views of the Potomac River. The atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant—perfect for a casual lunch or evening out. Prices are reasonable, and the staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive, especially our server who went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. We opted for healthier main dishes so we could indulge in their famous nachos guilt-free—and they were definitely worth it! While the food overall was decent, it’s really the setting and service that make this place stand out. It’s also a great spot to grab a drink after a walk along the waterfront. We’ll definitely be back.”
“Lunch at Nick’s Riverside Grill was such a vibe! We sat outside by the river in Georgetown with a beautiful breeze and gorgeous waterfront views. The ambience was relaxed and perfect for a leisurely lunch. The mussels were the star of the table, the hummus was so good, the tacos tasted fresh, the pappardelle and watercress pastas were delicious, the steak was cooked perfectly and came in a huge portion, and the chicken bowl was fresh and satisfying. Great food, generous portions, and unbeatable riverside views! 🌊☀️”
“Food: I had the jerk chicken bowl. The food tasted good, but the chicken was obviously frozen chicken breast that was microwaved/reheated and barely any cooking went into the making of my food. Drinks: outside bar on a hot summer day beers were not ICE cold. They were okay temperature. Not the way you want to cool off on a hot day. Service/atmosphere: staff was great. Atmosphere is also lovely for a sunny day.”
“I typically don't like to leave negative reviews, but considering that many of the positive reviews for this place read like bots wrote them, I feel like I'm responsible for balancing the scales. Simply put, the only thing this restaurant has going for it is the location. It probably wouldn't last much longer if it was somewhere less desirable. All the food is on par with what you can get from the worst sports bar in BWI. The service is slow and disorganized, the tables are dirty, and the energy doesn't match the rest of the restaurants in the area. Once they let the March Madness basketball game roll over to 60 minutes a good while after the game ended and didn't bother putting on anything else, it confirmed my suspicion that no one working here cares at all what's going on or what their reputation is. If you want a rowdy drink at a crowded outdoor bar this is the spot for you, otherwise keep walking around until you find something better.”
