“This elegant restaurant has a variety of upscale, delicious food choices with white tablecloth dining. The very social and large bar area is a nice, exciting place to dine while in DC. The very large dining room offers a more quiet atmosphere, but bustling with energy. Try the fried green tomatoes and any of the seafood and sushi is very fresh. The salads are splendid.”
“In short, foods are good! Pork chop is juicy and fits well with their sauce (gonna try to make it at home hhhh really like it!) The side we chose crab fried rice also flavorful! Ink pasta also very nice (taste like handmade but not sure, didn’t pay attention when we ordered)”
“This is a great place to eat! The service is fast. A shoutout to Megan for her superior service. I had the crispy shrimp salad which was fantastic. The Hamilton Mule (which is basically a moscow mule) but i think it was literay the best drink I have ever had. Gotta buy some copper mugs when I get home!! Thank you for adding to our experience in DC!”
“First time at The Hamilton and what a pleasant experience it was!! This spot was recommended for a work dinner, and it did not disappoint. The restaurant is huge and aesthetically pleasing—it definitely gives upscale dining vibes. Britney was our server, and she was exceptional!! She was attentive, thorough, kind, and really knew the menu. Honestly, she made the experience—thank you, queen! We had an 8 PM reservation, and although it was busy, the quality of the food didn’t reflect that, which I really appreciated. Everything came out hot and fresh. To start, I ordered a single crab cake, fried jalapeños, and a few charcuterie boards (I didn’t personally try the boards). The crab cake and fried jalapeños were 10/10!! For my entrée, I had the New York strip with rainbow carrots and whipped mashed potatoes. The steak was cooked to perfection—super tender, like butter. The carrots, with the glaze and ricotta, complemented each other really well, and the whipped potatoes were clearly made with care. Overall, 10/10. I’d highly, highly recommend this restaurant if you’re in the area. They have a wide variety on the menu, and it’s definitely worth the experience!”
“Made brunch reservations and were promptly seated on our time in a very comfortable booth seating. It was pleasant sunny day in DC, and Marcus, our server was quick to welcome us and take down our order. Booth setup was fantastic, noise levels on the lower end, and sunny! Our order included Cream of Crab Soup ($10.99), Zucchini & Basil Frittata ($19.99), Shrimp & Gritts ($24.99), Kids Pizza, and a side of Truffle-Rosemary Fries ($9.99). Food was in-line with expectations and the Frittata was excellent and based on Marcus' recommendation. The Truffle Fries were fresh and tasty too! Food arrives within 15-mins of placing the order and we felt the menu was priced well. Overall, we had an excellent experience and were glad we chose this place for brunch on our final day in DC! Will visit again and will recommend to friends and family for its excellent food and service, and a great location!”
