“Absolutely loved my experience at The Daily Dish! The atmosphere was cozy, welcoming, and perfect for either working remotely or catching up with friends. The food was AMAZING. The pizza had the best cheese pull, the shrimp & crab pasta was incredibly flavorful, and the beef & lamb shepherd’s pie was pure comfort food done right. The Burger Monday special was also a solid 10/10. And the banana pudding? Easily one of the best desserts I’ve had in a while! The lavender lemonade mocktail was refreshing, and while the lemon drop was just okay, the food completely stole the show. Overall, such a hidden gem in Silver Spring that deserves way more attention. Don’t say I didn’t tell you… get there before they go viral! PS: Ask for Jake? Jay… I know his name starts with a J! He is awesome!”
“On a whim, my husband and I went here for a late dinner this past Tuesday night. We had had brunch here before and concluded it was a do again spot for us for sure and last night‘s dinner did not disappoint! From the Formage appetizer served on Melba toast to the softshell crab and that delectable sauce, with crispy asparagus and roasted potatoes was absolutely delectable! The bread and butter seemed like it was direct from Paris! My husband‘s shrimp and crab meat pasta meal left his bowl completely clean! Our server was a delight, and the atmosphere was very laid-back and comfortable with everyone sitting around their outdoor tables after their meals chatting away with the dimly lit party lights hanging above our heads! The perfect spot for any meal as far as we’re concerned!!!”
“I took my mom here while she was visiting me. The food was *incredible* and our waitress was very helpful. It was little loud inside (it has "diner" vibes, even though it has pretty high-end food), and the tables are extremely close together. The food makes up for the loudness, if that kind of thing bothers you. Everything we got was delicious. I will definitely be going back!”
“I went here and was welcomed with good energy and quick service. This bistro has a nice menu and offers a bar with many options. There is seating both indoors and outdoors. I chose to sit indoors as the live jazz band was setting up for Sunday afternoon. The pizza was perfect and freshly made. My only advice would be to stay clear of placing your back to the walkway area. Everything else was absolutely wonderful. 💯”
“Cute neighborhood spot. Selection of drinks and oven fired pizza. The happy hour was vast with a cute list of specialty drinks. We came to catch up but I wasn't impressed with the menu. Definitely, a lot of vegan or trendy dishes but nothing popped out. She settled on the Beet Salad with Salmon and I a chicken sandwich with home fries. She liked her salad but I wasn't impressed with my selection. It was indeed a hearty portion but did have much flavor. The spicy Aoil is what gave it elevation. The fries were very oily and didn't have any salt. I only ate the bottom half with toppings and 1 fry. The Witches Brew was strong but needed to be microwaved. I wouldn't come back but I hear it's a neighborhood watering hole. Maybe the weekend brunch or pizza offering is better.”
