“Great food: we ordered half chicken (not dry), baby back ribs (interesting blueberry jam), roasted beets (bomb) and bread. Servers were attentive and friendly (didn't seem like they hated working here) Outdoor sitting is nicer than indoor (too loud as there aren't windows that can be opened. Tip: come early, line gets long around 7.”

“Moody Rooster is hands down the best restaurant in the area. I’m here often and the food is consistently excellent, thoughtful, seasonal and clearly cooked with care. Chef Collin Crannell and his wife Vicky, who runs the front of house, make this place what it is. You can feel that it’s a restaurant run by people who genuinely care and it shows in everything from the food to the service. Moose behind the bar makes fantastic cocktails and Annie always makes you feel welcome the second you walk in. It’s rare to find a place that gets food, drinks and hospitality this right, this consistently. Huge thanks to the whole team for being so great, you’ve built something really special here.”

“Really lived up to the hype. The service was exceptional. The crispy gnocchi is one of my favorite gnocchis I’ve ever had especially with the Parmesan fondue sauce. The roasted cauliflower was pretty good too!”

“My friend and I were coming back from a golf mixer, and we were fortunate to get seated by the kind hostess after neve having the opportunity to experience this long awaited bookmark. Our waitress was also very kind and guided us to the best selections and we left very happy. The chicken was crispy and succulent and the lamb came right off the bone fresh and tasty. “That’s the kind of place I love. The food is rich, well-prepared, perfectly portioned, and has just the right touch of creativity and personality. Prices are reasonable, and the service was excellent. We had the crispy gnocchi — absolutely delicious — and the veal sweetbreads, which are rare to find (very : crispy on the outside and tender inside) The ambiance was warm and lively — maybe a bit noisy, but in a way that makes you feel relaxed A great spot for a casual dinner with friends or family. Highly recommended!”
