The Irishman Pub and Eatery is an Irish restaurant in the Williamsville neighborhood of Williamsville.
“My husband and I went here for the first time on Saturday and had a lovely time. We had the Irish onion soup, I had zero expectations so when this turned out to be better than French onion I was floored! My husband had corned beef and cabbage which was very good and I had the best Reuben sandwich I have ever had. Now for the waitress she was lovely! A true gem, her positive energy and all around pleasantness made the experience wonderful. Atmosphere was wonderful, we will definitely be going back.”
“It was a minute before our waiter came to our table. He apologized straight out which was admirable. Dylan was an amazing server and was very attentive to all our needs. We have been here many times and it has always been a great experience. We started with the Jalapeño mozzarella sticks. Then my wife and I both got chicken sandwiches. I had the Glen falls chicken sandwich which was excellent with a large portion. My wife got the Buffalo Chicken sandwich which she enjoyed. My son had the Main Street burger and my daughter had a kids grill cheese. We were very happy with the food and the excellent service provided by Dylan- he deserves employee of the month!”
“The Irishman has long been a staple on Main Street in Williamsville. The front patio is a popular spot on a nice day, and the fire pit adds to the ambiance at night. Inside, the space has a classic pub feel, with a bar in the front and another toward the back, providing plenty of room for guests. The food is generally good to very good. The Reuben is consistently well-made, and the salmon is also a solid choice.”
“Go for the beer not the food. Our meatloaf was burnt on the bottom. The chicken tenders were salty and gross. It was a larger group, but the waiters didn't come back in to the room for 30 minutes. Then it was a forced tip. I get that large groups have a service fee but they forgot a whole persons food, didn't keep the drinks full with glasses empty for over an hour, food was burnt and wrong. The pot pie was good but spending $20+ for a burnt dish is uncalled for.”
“The food is great here but the service is atrocious. When we got seated at our table, the water was from a previous table, about a quarter full and warm. It also took at least 10 minutes for the waitress to come to our table when we sat down and the restaurant was very empty at the time. She then proceeded to ask us if we wanted glasses for the jug of water that was, I remind you, a quarter full and warm. She also never gave us straws, silverware, or napkins. Never checked on us until we were done eating and she gave us the check. What a waste of a restaurant that serves good food. And $11 for a cold French onion soup with no onions… Burgers are great, huge bonus with gluten free bun options!!!! cool spot to get beers for Music on Main (went last year multiple times) but if ownership and management cares they have a lot to address. Also, while probably common across the world today, there was 4/5 staff members sitting on their phones in view of customers which wouldn't be an issue if we were served properly while the restaurant was nearly empty. I've never left a restaurant review, bad or good but I think people need to know details about where they are going / the service they're getting if they are going to pay this much money. Attached is the only picture I took. A warm tin can of water. This occurred around 745/8 pm 5/30/26”
