Lucky Day Whiskey Bar

“We walked over on a beautiful later winter evening for a drink and dinner, not expecting to love it as much as we did. I made reservations the morning of for an early dinner (happy hour daily from 4-6pm!). We grabbed a drink at the bar and brought it to our upstairs table overlooking the expansive whiskey library. I got the strawberry lemonade with tequila, my partner got a mule. Both drinks were truly excellent, crafted with quality and fresh ingredients/mixers. They went down very easy. I got the filet, cooked perfectly. My partner got the chicken which was so juicy and flavorful. We shared plates and loved every bite. The service was great. Lucky Day made for a fantastic start to a date night and I know for certain that we’ll be back!”

“I was in Buffalo for a conference and afterwards my colleagues and I went to this wonderful bar that was recommended to our group. The atmosphere was very friendly from the greeting at the door to the awesome bartending staff. It was happy hour so we ordered some drinks and later some food. While at the bar we got to know Adam S. our bartender. He was a master at making drinks. We watched him stir 2 drinks with one hand, and shake a Shaker with the other. We enjoyed everything we ordered (Brisket sliders, fries, fried pickles and our mixed drinks made to perfection by Adam S.) When we left we took a picture with Adam S. and told him everytime we are in Buffalo we'd come and see him. If I lived in Buffalo Lucky Day would be my regular spot.”

Our server mentioned it was her first week, yet she delivered exceptional care without hovering. Her suggestions led to terrific drinks plus a smooth dining flow. A live jazz group was playing that night, creating a warm vibe that made the whole visit even better. Unsure if they perform every week, but it was a great surprise.”

Our server, Nikki, was absolutely amazing — warm, knowledgeable, and attentive in all the right ways. She made perfect recommendations, and everything we ordered was simply delicious. And let me tell you about the whiskey selection… unreal! They have something for every palate — from smooth and smoky to rich and complex — it’s a true whiskey lover’s dream.
