“From the second we walked in the door we knew this was going to be a good time. Felt like I just walked on set of a movie. We sat down in a comfy bar booth with great music, and dimmed lights. This, in my book, means we’re already off to an excellent start. I had a martini made extra filthy with Gorgonzola olives, and it was what I wish every martini I’ve ever had could taste like. Delicious! We ordered Nonna’s meatball insalata. Really great to share and both the meatballs and the salad were very good. Dinner was 1/2 chicken vesuvio and lasagna. Both excellent choices and plenty to take home for leftovers. The chicken was cooked perfectly and not dry at all. Loved the sauce! Lasagna was flavorful and comforting too. “Hidden prohibition era gem in the heart of bucktown. There's a bar and two tops in the front with larger tables in the back. Really enjoyed both the food and the ambiance. Menu is fairly extensive and hits a wide range of Italian dishes. Everything we got was delicious and came out very quickly. Service was to notch too. Our table got lost in the shuffle and the person who took up serving us made sure we were well taken care of and even comp'd is a dessert. Definitely coming back”

“Good food, nice ambiance. We four enjoyed the cheese ravioli with a nice marinara sauce, lasagna bolognese and meatball sandwich with a good arugula salad. They do get busy at lunch time. Outside patio seating is lovely. Will try their dessert next visit”

“​The setup at Club Lucky is a bit confusing if it's your first time, and unfortunately, the service reflects a lot of hot-and-cold pretense. The staff was incredibly welcoming initially, but their demeanor shifted noticeably the moment they realized I was a courier. After being told to wait outside, I came back in to look at the menu and get a feel for the restaurant's specialties. Trying to have a simple, normal conversation with the employees felt like pulling teeth—they seemed totally threw off by basic socializing and projected a pretty arrogant vibe. They have a forced politeness when handing over the food, but the overall crowd and staff culture feels incredibly artificial”
