“Excellent sports bar/restaurant serving a wide range of popular American fare and beverages. Food is well prepared, tasty and portions are generous. Friendly and attentive service. A well established local “institution” as is its neighbor across the street (The Sole Proprietor) — both have their own distinctive vibe; so locals will often go to both, just for different occasions. The Boynton has its own parking lot, accessed from Ormond Street; so if you don’t find a public space on Highland just go to the back of the building for the restaurant lot. I test out restaurants by ordering the fish and chips — I thought it was a bit expensive here until it came to the table — a full half slab of cod made with beer batter; super crispy outside and moist, delicious cod inside. Served with plenty of crispy garlic home fries, slaw and tartar sauce. I live near by and I’ll be back!”

“Very good beer selection. Chef's special clam chowder was "New England like" with some atypical additions like bell peppers, very good regardless. The fish and chips were also fantastic with a massive chunk of beer battered haddock and well-seasoned potato wedges.”

“We’ve been to this place many times and every time enjoyed it so much. Great restaurant with a spacious parking lot. Attentive and sweet staff, food came out pretty quick. I highly recommend to try their Buffalo chicken pizza as it comes from another world! Delicious burgers and drinks.”

“Went here for a work dinner/meeting. The waiters were super nice and considering how many of us were at the table, we got our food quickly. I also didn't have any issues with my burger substitutions being forgotten in a large order. I got the Truffle Burger/Fries and recommend it! I also had their fried pickles and spinach dip/chips appetizers. which were good as well. We were seated upstairs away from the bar, which I liked.”
