Located where the Chehalem Mountains converge with Ribbon Ridge, our 122-acre property is a beautiful example of everything Oregon wine country has to offer: warm & genuine hospitality, gorgeous views, and incredible wines. Colene Clemens was founded in 2005 by Joe and Victoria Stark with the express purpose of making exceptional pinot noir. The property is named in honor of Victoria’s mother, Colene Clemens. Wine production began in 2008, and Winemaker & Vineyard Manager, Stephen Goff has been dedicated to the development and planting of the vineyard as well as the production of our stunning wines since the very beginning. “Big shout out to Angela at this beautiful vineyard and wine tasting. They have a gorgeous patio for good weather, and we enjoyed the warm fireplace inside for the rainy day we visited. Enjoying these excellent Pinots, rosé and chardonna, a perfect way to enjoy the region! Not to miss: the Margo, Adriane, and Victoria Pinot Noir.”

“Steve Goff, former assistant winemaker at Beaux Frères, has been at the helm since the first vines were planted back in 2005. Nestled in the shadow of Bald Peak in the Chehalem Mountains, Colene Clemens is one of the most impressive wineries in the Willamette Valley. A selection of a handful of Pinot Noirs is complemented by a lovely Chardonnay and rosé that is often the very best you can find in Oregon. Five different Pinot Noir clones have been planted between an elevation 350-650 feet in an area where the Chehalem Mountains AVA converges with the Ribbon Ridge AVA; in turn, the wines from this estate possess a level of complexity typically not found in such young vines.
