Committee draws inspiration from the modern day “ouzeri,” a casual meeting spot that can be found throughout Greece. It’s the kind of welcoming place where people get together to relax & bond over a fresh-made meal. Greeks know that delicious food sets the stage for a great meeting—whether you’re discussing a business deal or simply catching up with old friends. Committee embraces this tradition in the heart of the Seaport. We have designed our menu around "Meze"—a culinary concept that encourages people to share. Our Chefs prepare small, sharable plates that are brought to the table throughout the meal, allowing diners to experience a wide range of dishes featuring only the freshest local ingredients. If unforgettable food, a fun crowd, and an electric urban scene are on your agenda, the consensus is Committee. Need to know: Please be prompt for your reservation. Each reservation has limited turn times- 90 min. for 2-3 guests 120 min. for 4-7 guests, & 150 min. for 8+ guests.
“I love this place! The small plates are fantastic. Every dish is packed with flavor and beautifully presented. Just a heads-up: it’s very popular, so getting a reservation can be tricky, but it’s absolutely worth the effort. On this visit, we shared the Trio of Dips — cucumber tzatziki, tirokafteri, and butternut squash hummus — all served with warm pita. Each one had a unique flavor, but the tirokafteri was my favorite with its perfect balance of spice and creaminess. The Crispy Artichoke with caramelized onion labneh was mouthwatering goodness! Perfectly fried and bursting with flavor. The Falafel was also excellent, crisp on the outside, soft inside, and paired beautifully with the sauces. Committee nails the modern Mediterranean vibe... lively, delicious, and always fun. Can’t wait to come back and try more!”
“We had dinner reservations and were seated on time. Our server Thomas (anime fan!) made our evening memorable. We ordered dips trio (wish there was more warm pita), spanakopita, patatas (tasty), zucchini crisps (like tempura), lamp chops, orange upside down cake, cappuccino and upper hand cocktail. Everything was delicious. The decor is very warm and inviting.”
“Caught a couple of the small plates in the photos and agree they do Lamb chops nicely, as were the meatballs and the trio dip. Asked for some extra pita for the trio but didn’t get it. ;-(. Nice wines by the glass as well as a fun cocktail menu.”
“For the price and the gorgeous interior, I would expect more wow to the food. The taste was alright, but the Tapas portions didn’t match the price at all, and some dishes had comically small amounts of food. The potatoes coming with five wedges (not even a whole potato!!) for example, or the tartare only coming with four chips. We all agreed that the ratio of sauce to sustenance felt off on every dish, as with the potatoes we were left with a lot of the dip, the tartare we had to slather a ton on every chip, the meatballs we were left with a crock of sauce, and so on. Providing each table with at least something, even just some pita bread would feel a lot better, and less wasteful. Because if I’m spending almost $20 on three meatballs, you bet I want to finish all the sauce I’m paying for! There was also a very strange occurrence— we were able to order a decaf espresso but not a decaf espresso martini? I believe the espresso martini’s are premixed, but as a three ingredient cocktail, it’s a bit shocking that they can’t just make it despite having all the ingredients there. Overall, it was a good try, but I don’t think I’ll go back. The price and ambiance doesn’t outweigh the rather disappointing and lackluster experience.”
“Was really looking forward to trying this restaurant based on the reviews but was pretty disappointed. The food wasn’t anything special unfortunately. We had the zucchini chips which were good, the feta with honey, the honey nut squash in phyllo and the gnocchi moussaka. The rest wasn’t great in my opinion. The moussaka wasn’t what we thought it would be - it was really just gnocchi with mildly spiced meat sauce and we thought it would be something more layered with bechamel etc. The cocktails were good and the restaurant has a nice ambience but maybe brunch is better.”
