Copley's on Palm Canyon

“An amazing place, with very friendly and attentive waiters and excellent food at high but reasonable prices, in a historic setting linked to Cary Grant. An absolutely delightful experience all round. Do check the menu in their website since the ones listed here go out of date quickly. I’d recommend scoring a table inside if the weather is hot, and also because the small room ;only around 20 tables) gives it a very intimate and personal feel.”

“We ate at Copley’s for my birthday dinner and found it to be a lovely, romantic place to celebrate. We heard other parties arriving were celebrating similar things. Reservations are highly recommended but be prepared to arrive early or right on time as you will be charged a fee for late arrivals or no show. The atmosphere was really pretty, and we sat outside on the patio underneath the Yellow Bell tree and by the center fountain. There was plenty of open seating when we were there - but keep in mind this is the start of July. I heard they will close for the season in mid-July and reopen I believe in September. I ordered the salmon plate, which came with lobster mashed potatoes, a couple of big sprigs of asparagus and carrots. My salmon was cooked perfectly and was very tasty. The mashed potatoes and lobster was a yummy combination as well. I paired it with a glass of sauvignon blanc. My husband ordered the NY prime steak which also came with asparagus and carrots and yummy fries. He paired his with a Desert Breeze. His steak was unfortunately overcooked - he ordered it medium rare and it came well-done. This was a huge disappointment for him and when he mentioned it to the waiter, he apologized for the cook and then brought us both complimentary desserts - my birthday and to attempt to correct the error. Overall the experience was very enjoyable and it was quiet. Would recommend but can’t give the 5 star rating due to the steak mishap.”

“Great restaurant and great service. Food was outstanding and delicious. Came here to celebrate a birthday and definitely did not disappoint. Victor gave a wonderful experience/ service to our table. Thank you Victor and the entire staff for making our evening special for the birthday girl. We had bread service and I loaded up on that (big mistake). I had the Caesar Salad with Pineapple Croutons. Portion was large enough to share. Great salad and the only thing I would have liked was more pineapple croutons (only because they were delicious and sweet that I wanted a lot more). I ordered the Duck entree. 2 large duck legs and a lot of spinach, cabbage with blueberries, and mushrooms. Unfortunately we had birthday cake waiting for us at home or we would've ordered a few desserts for the table. Will definitely come back again.”

“Copley’s is one of our favorite restaurants in Palm Springs. We love the outdoor seating and the service and food is consistently top tier. We loved our server Chad. His description of the specials was like a floor show. He impressed us with his charm and enthusiasm. Copley’s is a first class establishment where we always feel valued as special guests. We ordered salmon, chicken schnitzel, pork chop, beet salad and the Caesar salad. My vodka martini was made exactly the way I like it. Stirred with no vermouth. Yum! Everything was absolutely perfect. Thank you Chad for making our dining experience so special. We will be back next time we come to Palm Springs.”

“Overall the food and service was good. Although cooked to medium rare, the NY steak was a little on the tough side, but was flavorful. The lamb chops were thick and cooked perfectly at the request of medium rare. Only thing I was not crazy about was the squash "wheel" that came with most of the entree's. It was soft and didn't have much character. Perhaps a couple of minutes on an open flame and hot grille could add a textural component. Asparagus was cooked nicely.The restaurant was really beautiful and picturesque. Our table was indoors but when we're back, will definitely eat in the elegant open courtyard.”
