Its owner, Tedd Durden began dreaming of a legacy for his three children in 2002 while living in Fairfax County. In 2005, the family moved to a beautiful property on the opposite side of the creek and, in 2007, Mr. Durden purchased the land which is now home to Creek’s Edge Winery and has been in business since 2014.
“Outstanding Winery Experience! We had a party of forty visit Creek's Edge Winery, and the experience exceeded everyone's expectations. The vineyard is absolutely beautiful, with a relaxing atmosphere, an excellent selection of wines, and delicious food. Planning the event with Sandy was a pleasure. She could not have been more accommodating, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. Sandy, along with Laura, Christina, and Simone, provided exceptional service throughout the afternoon and made our large group feel right at home. Everything we ordered was excellent, and the charcuterie boards were a huge hit with many in our group. The wine selection offered something for everyone, from refreshing whites to rich reds, and the tasting flights were a fun way to explore their offerings. While every wine was enjoyed, the Cabernet Sauvignon was the clear favorite among our members. If you're looking for a beautiful setting, outstanding service, great food, and excellent wines, Creek's Edge Winery is a must visit. We can't wait to return!”
“Beautiful vineyard setting with a warm, classy atmosphere. The winery’s craftsmanship is outstanding. Most of the wines were very good, except for the Rose. The service was slow when we first sat down but they quickly made up for it with multiple staff coming to our table. The food looked fantastic. The outdoor pavilion looks perfect for a warm summer afternoon/evening. We’ll definitely be back!”
“Let me start by saying this place is beautiful inside and out. Sandy and Laura were absolutely amazing and accommodating for a 60th birthday party we planned there today. The food was delicious the wine the atmosphere the fireplace the service - everything could not have been better!. We will definitely be back soon!”
“Beautiful property and great wine. The service was very good and the staff were super friendly. We also ordered some bread which came with warm butter and it was fantastic. I’m surprised we did not go here for this long. Most of the wines here are sophisticated for a mature wine connoisseurs. Definitely will be going back for the wines and the ambiance.”
“Made reservations for a noon Easter Egg hunt with a Brunch Board. We arrived, it’s a beautiful winery, we had reservations for a noon seating. There was a seating at 10am so we were the second wave. The board we ordered was a medium size $120 and was plenty for our party of 4 adults and 2 children. They told us we can we can start our egg hunt anytime while we visited in our 12-2pm time frame. We ate for 40 mins and decided to take the kids outside for an egg hunt. THERE were NO EGGS to be hunted. We searched high and low and nothing, not even ONE egg. So, the first wave of kids hunted all 500 eggs that were advertised by this winery, if actually 500 eggs were hidden. It was a disappointment, there were only a few kids in our second wave at noon. Overall it was an awful experience and as a Loudoun county resident I would never do this winery for Easter again.”
