We are an adult venue, all guests must be 16 and older. No infants. Seating may be limited to 2 hours at this time. Reservations are recommended if you want to sit indoors. A beautiful, rustic winery/brewery located on Lake Manassas in Gainesville VA, The Winery at Sunshine Ridge Farm is the only local winery with a breathtaking view of Lake Manassas, which can be seen from all our rooms. Woman-owned and family-operated, with over 20 acres of land, we have a rustic wine tasting room and an old pub style brewery with large fireplaces. Both our Wine Maker and Brew Master are award winning craftsmen who are excited to share their latest creations with you. Whether you want to read a book and peacefully enjoy a glass of wine, walk the waterfront and enjoy the sunset or host a private event, we are the perfect choice for any occasion.
“We had a really great time here celebrating a friend's birthday! We got two picnic tables near the water under the shade of the trees. Lovely spot in June. While the wine and beer are nice, I actually recommend the ciders. They were excellent. The BBQ food truck was also very good. So was the live music.”

“Beautiful winery with relaxing scenic lake view. Wine is very good and beer is refreshing and food is delicious too. And live band quilty is awesome!!! Outdoor seating is allowed outside foods, indoor seating is very clean with kind staffs. And every other Wednesday is a fantastic karaoke event. We love The Winery at Sunshine Ridge Farm.”
“It is a lovely winery and with it being on Lake Manassas it makes it a close place to escape every day life I had a red wine flight but wasn't that impressed. The pour was skimpy and the flavors were a bit flat. I definitely have had better reds in Virginia. The service was quick but not overly welcoming. If you come with a group of people you might not notice. The grounds made up for most of my complaints so I might return to try something else later.”
“Stop #4 on the birthday winery crawl at the recommendation of my precious winery. Here they have wine, cider and beer so it's a one stop shop. Wasn't busy for New Year's Eve Day so when I walked in I was greeted right away. I decided to do small tasting cups of the cider and they were all yummy. Unique holiday flavors in addition to their regular year round flavors. I decided on white wine flight with a hot pretzel. The indoor area is quaint with a fireplace going as well as heated outdoor patio seating. It is by water and is probably beautiful in the summer. It was quiet and cozy for a chilly winter day. Comfy and cozy!”
