“**Absolutely stunning winery with incredible wines and views!** We had the most wonderful afternoon at Stone Tower Winery in Leesburg, Virginia. The drive up Hogback Mountain sets the tone—arriving at this beautiful 300+ acre mountaintop estate feels like escaping to a little piece of Tuscany right here in Northern Virginia. The panoramic views of the rolling vineyards and countryside are breathtaking, especially from the terrace or the Tower View tasting room. The wines are exceptional—premium French-style varietals done right. We loved the crisp Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, the elegant sparkling, and the bold Bordeaux blends (Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Petit Verdot). Everything was well-balanced, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The tasting experience was informative and fun, with friendly, knowledgeable staff who made us feel right at home. We paired our wines with delicious bites from the menu (great gluten-free and vegan options available), and everything complemented perfectly. The atmosphere is upscale yet welcoming—perfect for a romantic date, a group outing, or just a relaxing day trip. Plenty of seating indoors and out, and the whole place is impeccably maintained. Stone Tower is a true gem in Virginia wine country. We’ll definitely be back for more tastings, maybe a special event or even to check out one of their suppers or live music nights. Highly recommend making a reservation and going soon—you won’t be disappointed!”

“I truly didn’t know what to expect when coming here but I left pretty impressed. As I walked and turned more, the amoint of seating just kept going. I said wow! This was an extremely busy day. Everyone had the same idea because it was nice outside. The service was also pretty good for how busy it was. The staff was so nice!! All very knowledgeable about the wine and even let me sample some of the wine (Petit Manseng and Port) that wasn’t on their menu and that I could only buy a bottle of. They had my favorite wine (Petit Manseng) but somehow I ended up loving the 2024 Sauvignon Blanc Reserve. I even ordered a glass of it after my tasting. It was light, smooth, and had a hit of guava taste to it. Very refreshing. Loved my pizza too! I was stuck between getting a pizza or their smash burger, but happy I chose the pizza. The brownie I got was pretty good too and apparently it was gluten free. The property is pet family friendly. I think the 21+ side looks the best and has better views as well.”

“Been a while, but the views were breathtaking, the wine was exceptional, and the atmosphere felt effortlessly romantic. We watched the sunset over the vineyards and just enjoyed being in the moment. Perfect spot for a special date and a memory we will always cherish.”

“Visited on a Sunday, about a couple of hours before it was set to close, and couldn't have been happier about stopping here. Despite being busy, it still felt very serene, spacious and accommodating. I was in town for a conference and this was a great way to relax before a busy few days - enjoyable wine, dog friendly (wish mine were with me), and the view during sunset was breathtaking. I'd absolutely return! As a side note, I ubered there and back - the uber for pick up took a bit (depending on where you're at on property, the reception is a little spotty), but it worked out overall!”

“I truly cannot decide what was worse: the service, the food, or the audacity. We ordered a salad and pizza and waited 45 MINUTES for it to arrive — meanwhile, nobody checked on us once because apparently ordering on your phone means customer service no longer exists. But somehow there was still an automatic 20% tip added to the bill. Interesting concept. Then it started raining, so we politely asked if we could switch tables. The employee literally scoffed, grunted “yeah,” and acted like we had asked him to rebuild the vineyard by hand. After another 15 minutes of waiting with no food in sight, we finally had to complain and magically the food appeared immediately after. Funny how that works. The pizza arrived ice cold, the portions were laughably small, and when we asked if they could either heat it up or remake it, we were told it would be “another 45 minute wait.” Absolutely unreal. For the prices they charge, you would expect at least decent service and edible food. Instead, you get subpar wine, tiny portions, rude staff, and a dining experience that feels like an inconvenience to everyone working there. The only redeeming quality of this place is the view because at least you have something pretty to look at while waiting an hour for cold pizza. We will absolutely not be returning.”
