Cuvée Bistro at Chatham Inn

“This is a beautifully curated restaurant with extraordinary service, extreme attentiveness to guests, and a very high caliber of hospitality overall. The food was OK, but fell short of expectation, as there wasn’t a lot of flavor, creativity, or finesse, and the execution of the food itself was quite bland and uninviting. I think although this is a lovely restaurant with a great reputation and good food, it ended up being an incredibly disappointing experience and evening for us personally, as it was our wedding anniversary and we had noted that on both the reservation note and we verbalized it upon entering, but received no recognition of that experience or occasion during the evening at all. Unfortunately, there was no note wishing us a happy anniversary, no complimentary glass of prosecco or champagne, and not even a complimentary desert or a desert with happy anniversary written on it. Any of those would have been standard protocol for almost any fine dining restaurant in Cape or Boston with a guest who was celebrating a wedding anniversary, so for us unfortunately, cuvée missed the mark completely and made what should have been a very special and romantic evening, nothing more than a standard dinner out at a local inn.”

“Our two meals at Cuvée were absolutely perfect! We were lucky enough to have Luz as our server both nights, and she made the experience truly exceptional. She was so warm and kind with great menu recommendations. An absolute must order is the brioche monkey bread. It was life changing! We also tried the steak, short rib, lobster ricotta cavatelli, diver scallops, and oysters from Chatham. Each and every dish was sublime. The chef deserves every accolade for such a thoughtfully considered and beautifully executed menu.”

“Special thanks to Ryanna whose warmth and kindness set the tone for my experience at Cuveé. Here you’ll find an intimate restaurant with a well priced set menu of fine delectables. The night started with a cold corn soup (ginger, verjus), fluke (apple, feen herbs), toro (caviar, picked cucumbers), lobster (my favorite and very beautifully painted), aged john dory (a rare treat with caviar velouté) and refreshing corn desserts of textures that tickle the palate. I had a wonderful time with the unpretentious and caring staff who were so accommodating. A cape gem.”

“Stayed at Chatham Inn last night and dined at Cuvée and have to say it was outstanding! Javier the sommelier was terrific (and generous) with the wine pairings. The waitstaff is very well trained and professional. And the chef made a couple of table side visits to present the sauces, etc. Love that the menu is a tasting menu (4 course) but at least 3 choices for each course. Menu seems to change frequently but if I went back tonight- I’m not sure I’d change anything- every bite was delicious! Can’t wait to return.”

“A truly extraordinary experience! Not only was the food exceptional, but the service was incredible. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that every detail was perfect. Luz was our server and she was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and very friendly and personable. Our reservation included a 4 course dinner, but we actually received two extra complimentary courses, champagne, cookies and brownies to take home! An anniversary dinner we will never forget. We can’t wait to come back!”
