“During our stay at the Westin, we stopped by Decker & Dyer to have a cocktail before getting ready for the night. The French Mule was delicious. My husband enjoyed his old fashioned. The atmosphere is upscale. Our waitress was friendly and helpful in recommending places to visit during our stay. We had hoped to grab breakfast before we left, but didn't have enough time. The menu looked simple, but good. I was looking forward to trying the Avocado toast. Next time, my pretties.”
“Hostess and server were kind and accommodating but forgot juice order, portions were small. Wait time longer than expected and food not worth the time, if not included in our hotel room price. Next time in Nashville, we will pass and find a better brunch locale!”
“Came 3 times during my stay. During busier hours service was great and food was pretty good too. One time we just wanted sit down for a coffee, empty place, but the lady in the front told us to grab our coffee and go sit somewhere else (for no reason). I guess you need to get them in their good they, otherwise you are not welcome there.”
“My group of 10 made reservations here for 6pm. When we got there, there was one other table and another person sitting at the bar. There was a bar tender and a hostess/server. Several people in my group are/were servers so we took several things into consideration before making this review. One half of us got our drinks, which took longer than anyone would have thought. The second half waited over 40 mins for soda. We noticed the server was cleaning tables and doing other things around the restaurant, but didn’t check on us one time. One of the girls in our group went to the bar to get the sodas and it still took awhile to receive them. The food came out within 45 mins of ordering and was a good temperature upon arrival. The taste was the only good thing. Several of the checks were wrong and after bringing the mistakes to the servers. The manager was “helping” her but kept staring at our table and glaring. We got several looks from the manager. Eventually she came back with our checks, which were wrong. We ended up paying the wrong prices anyway. Considering the restaurant was not busy at all, the service was really bad. The prices for the food and drinks we ordered was far too much for what it was.”
“We recently stayed at this hotel and were really disappointed by our experience at the bar. I ordered a lemon drop martini and was charged $15 for Tito’s — plus an additional $5 just for ordering it as a “martini.” I’ve never been charged an upcharge simply because of the glassware or style of the drink. My husband ordered an Old Fashioned and was charged $4 extra, then $19 for a double — yet the glass was barely 1/4 full and didn’t even cover the whiskey cube. For those prices, you expect proper pours and transparency. To make matters worse, the bartender offered me a glass of prosecco to “try,” which I assumed was complimentary — only to find a $14 charge for it on our bill. The pricing felt misleading and excessive, and the lack of clarity left us feeling taken advantage of. For a hotel bar that presents itself as upscale, the bar experience was anything but. Unfortunately, because of our experience at the bar, we won’t be returning.”
