Modern Vietnamese food + bar in the heart of Nashville.
“My family of 4 went here for lunch. I am Vietnamese and am always seeking out pho places when traveling. My mom made the best pho and simmered soup bones for hours on end and used various herbs and spices so I know what a good bowl of pho should taste like. The best places in my past experiences were usually in nondescript or holes in the wall areas. This restaurant was spot on with their pho. We all ordered the Pho Tai and the beef slices were tender and substantial. The broth was flavorful and authentic. We also ordered the fresh shrimp spring rolls. Though there were more greens than noodles/shrimp in what I would normally like to have in my spring rolls, it was still good. The presentation was lovely and the peanut sauce was a perfect balance of flavors. Service was excellent and ambience was cozy. Wonderful experience overall and I would highly recommend this place for an authentic bowl of pho!”
“Lovely place for healthy food options. Love Peace & Pho have a good range of choices for veggies and vegans too. The veggie Pho with jalapeño, cilantro, and lime was hearty on a cold day. The service was friendly and super fast. We had 4 in our party and we were seated promptly.”
“So my family and finally got here to try this place out, it took up awhile despite the fact we live relatively close. So glad we did!! We are big fans of good Pho and Vietnamese food in general and we hit it right here. As an added bonus when we arrived we find out it was the first night of a new buffet they were running, this included all the freshly made Pho varieties you can eat as well!! Honestly everything was great, and the Pho was outstanding. Will 100% be going back, but not to often as I ate way too much.”
“Maybe I went on a off day (many of my food reviews are rating service received when placing to go orders) because I have found QUALITY,.QUANTITY, PREPARATION AND PACKAGING very much lacking when getting food to go. The broth was "flavorful" and skimpy veggies (sprouts etc) to place in broth was not conducive to the $$$ spent. The noodles (I ordered extra) that were included with main order was stuck solid in a mass and I tossed. Who wants a mass of started sitting at the bottom of you broth bowl. (Old congeled noodles basically) The extra noodles were fresh. I really felt cheated and defeated purpose of having a filling Pho with extra noodles. The shrimp egg rolls ( not the name) had a forrest of greenery and texture of the wrap that encased the greenery was chewy. I have had this before at different establishment and chewy greenery lacking flavor was not the case) I never could taste nor see shrimp as the chewy wrap and greenery overpowered what little or if any shrimp encased. The service was quick and from my drive home to eat I will say... maybe they had a different cook, getting rid of in lieu of tossing old noodles. I was unhappy with the quality, presentation and taste of what I was served. The broth was tasty, peanut sauce had flavor that could have over powered the egg roll because we couldn't taste shrimp flavor. A waste of gas and money.”
“My friend and I were really looking forward to trying this restaurant before a show at Zanies. We had made reservations, but when we arrived, the place was completely empty, so reservations didn't seem necessary. We were seated right away and quickly decided what we wanted to order. Unfortunately, that's where the positive experience ended. There were two staff members present: one behind the bar and one in the dining are. After being seated, no one acknowledged us. We waited about 15 minutes without anyone offering water, taking our order, or even checking in. What made it more frustrating was when another guest came in and was immediately greeted and served water, while we were still being ignored. At that point, it became clear we weren't going to receive service, so we decided to leave. As we walked out, the staff watched us go without saying a word or attempting to address the situation. We ended up going to The Smiling Elephant, where we had a completely different experience--friendly service and great food. Based on this experience, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.”
