“Highly recommended Domaćin! My fiance and I went here to celebrate our engagement and it was so perfect. They weren't very busy that evening and they surprised us by seating us in the private wine cellar to make it extra special. We had the scallops, steak tartare, lobster pasta and the duck breast. Our server gave us an excellent wine recommendation to pair with our meal and I'm still thinking about how wonderful everything was! Make sure you get the scallops when you go! The duck breast had a lot of flavors going on and they melded together perfectly. Highly recommend for a special occasion.”

“I could not have been more elated to celebrate my birthday at this fabulous five-star venue! Owner Aleks was beyond gracious in sharing a seat, generous time, and a fabulous bottle of bubbles with our dinner party. Server Savannah was delightful and on point with stellar service. The charcuterie and French Billecart Salmon champagne were delectable starters; and the halibut and beef tenderloin paired perfectly with Nappa Valley's Stags Leap District Pine Ridge wine...just simply divine! I aspire to be a returning patron for this great one!”

“In short: Food was good, not mind blowing for the price. Awesome service from the server and very attentive. Duck breast with confit and pomegranate: prepared perfectly, tasty, and a good match with the pomegranate and potatoes. I think a little bit more salt would have helped the dish but overall it was good but not mind blowing for a duck dish for me. 7.2/10 Salmon: Can't really mess up salmon but this was something I feel I could whip up at home. The salmon could have been maybe a tad bit more undercooked, as I felt this was maybe 30-60 seconds cooked a bit longer. I didn't feel the sauce complimented or enhanced the flavor of the salmon. It did however help the flavor of the cauliflower. Halibut potato soup: great texture and great flavor. Could have used a dash more of salt to enhance the flavors a bit more.”

“We visited for our anniversary and had a wine pairing, four course dinner. The server never asked us about what type of food we'd like/not like, only if we had any food allergies. When the first course was brought it was NOT something we'd ever eat. We had expected to be given options of what we'd like to eat. We indicated that we didn't care for what was being served they got very defensive. The rest of the dinner service was then strained. The rest of food was delicious and we enjoyed it. We felt the tables were all way to close together. There was a group of four seated next to us and we couldn't even have a conversation together without them over hearing us as we heard everything they were saying. We thought it would be a nice, intimate dinner, but not with the seating there. For the price we paid it absolutely was not worth it, even though the food was good. There aren't any good photo's of the food because it was too dark in there to get decent ones without using flash (which is rude in my opinion to other diners). Would we go back? Probably not just due to the attitude of the server and the seating. The food was great.”

“I came here for my anniversary because I thought it would be special. Never once were we asked what brought us in or if we have dinned before. I was so excited to try this place we drove from the western suburbs. With this high of ratings I guess I had higher expectations. Service felt more like a fast casual spot that a dining experience spot. I wished we went with somewhere in the city. We had the scallops and tuna tartar. Both were bland and honestly smelled a little off We shared the lobster and duck. The duck was grey and dry. The lobster was rubbery Hopefully my experience was a one off but I won’t be back.”
