We are a small cocktail bar in downtown Tacoma located in the historic Courthouse Square building. Our beverage program revolves around classic cocktails and inspired house creations. We change our wine list frequently, focusing on both Old World and Pacific Northwest varietals. Our food is based around local, seasonal ingredients and everything is as house-made as possible including fresh pasta. We will always proudly offer vegetarian and vegan options. We are a very small restaurant, reservations are strongly recommended. We require credit card information at the time of booking a reservation. There is no charge to make a reservation, however we do charge a $20 per person fee if you do not show up for your reservation. We have very limited seating and reservations that no-show often cause us to turn away other guests. We ask for 24 hour notice if you cancel your reservation so we can rebook the table. If you experience a last minute emergency, please reach out directly via phone or email. Our bar seating is always available for walk in guests. We have only a few tables in our dining room where we can accommodate minors, please reach out if anyone in your party is under 21. We have plenty of all ages seating on our patio. Our menu rotates frequently, and many items are limited. “Another one of Tacoma’s gems. Great service, good bartender. And the yeah menu is not that big but food is still good. I’m not a bacon wrapped dates, kind of person, but theirs were pretty good.”
“We came from an hour away to try this place. We both got the beef short rib bolognese. It was absolutely delicious. My wife had a Scottish Rose cocktail & loved it. I had a non alcoholic Hibiscus Mule & also loved it. This place is small & cozy with a great atmosphere. Staff was great too! Worth the drive!”
“Called. Made a reservation. Needed a table in 20. Got it. Place is small. Very cool atmosphere Seated upon arrival Staff was helpful. Attentive. Food was on point. Absolutely nothing lacking. Probably one of the best if not the best I’ve had here in Tacoma.”
“Good food. Snarky waitress. The guy who brought our dishes once our waitress left at 9 was nice. Will not be back despite living very close. Dining out is expensive and part of the experience is customer service. Update: as a response to the owner or whomever replied, it wasn't just the comment about the beverage. I'd like to clarify that I asked to bring in my own diet soda because I'm type I diabetic and your restaurant does not have diet soda. She offered me orange juice which was just....wrong for various reasons. And it wasn't just that comment that rubbed my group the wrong way.”
“I really wanted to love this place, especially since we came to celebrate three birthdays. The experience started off strong—our server was kind and friendly at first, and the appetizers and drinks were enjoyable. Unfortunately, things went downhill when the main courses arrived. Only two out of four meals came out initially, and it took another 5 minutes or so for the remaining dishes to arrive. One of those dishes, the prawn risotto, was overwhelmingly salty—to the point of being inedible. I’ve never sent a dish back before, so it wasn’t an easy decision. What made the situation worse was the shift in service afterward. When I let the server know, her attitude noticeably changed—she became rude and dismissive, and there was no apology. Instead, it felt like the issue was being blamed on us. Overall, it was disappointing, especially given that it was meant to be a special celebration. There were definitely some positives, but the inconsistency in both food and service left us let down.”
