“⭐ We had a fantastic stay at the Flamingo Hotel! The atmosphere was lively, busy, and full of energy, which made the experience feel fun and exciting from the moment we arrived. Despite being bustling, everything was well organized and welcoming. What really stood out was the service. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to help. The level of hospitality felt truly five-star and made our stay even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a vibrant resort with great amenities, a fun social atmosphere, and exceptional service, the Flamingo is a wonderful choice. We can’t wait to come bac”
“Everything about this place is amazing! We get the lanai room that walks out to the pool, I usually request room 307 because it's perfectly located across from the hot tub but also close to the pool! The room is always clean and airy. We live about 3 hours away and this is our favorite quick trip for getting out of town for the weekend. I have a 7, 5 and 3 year old and everyone always makes us feel so comfortable here. The vibes are like no other hotel I've ever experienced. The customer service is always outstanding. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. When we get here we don't want to ever leave! I've never relaxed so much in my life, especially with 3 young kids. This place is one of a kind and we will keep coming here for years to come!”
“We had s great time here. The rooms are dated and the toilets don’t function well. However, the room was very clean, and the staff were really nice and helpful. The pool is heated (great in the cold nights). The hot tub was perfect. And there is s great work out room!”
“My Airbnb unexpectedly had no hot water, so they relocated me to the Flamingo Resort & Spa for the night. While I was disappointed with the Airbnb situation, they ultimately did the right thing by arranging alternate accommodations. The Flamingo turned out to be a solid stay overall. The property features a large heated outdoor pool, a decent restaurant, and consistently friendly service throughout the resort. The rooms were clean and included a small coffee bar setup. My room also had a separate alcove-style sleeping area with two twin beds positioned end-to-end, which would actually be a fun setup for families with younger children. The biggest drawback was the bathroom. It was fairly small, and the shower design featured only a partial glass divider rather than a full door. No matter how carefully I tried, water still managed to end up across part of the bathroom floor. Water pressure was also noticeably low. I had dinner at the hotel restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. The food was above average for an older, somewhat dated resort property, and the service was excellent. Overall, I would not consider the Flamingo a destination resort, but it is a comfortable and perfectly respectable place to stay when visiting the Santa Rosa area. A comfortable and enjoyable stay overall, with a few quirks that keep it just shy of excellent.”
“This hotel has an undeniably striking look, with a fantastic retro 50s vibe that gives the entire property a unique charm. The décor feels thoughtfully curated—bold colors, vintage accents, and plenty of fun, cozy sitting areas where you can relax or catch up with colleagues. The bar is decent, and the pool is absolutely gorgeous—easily one of the best features of the place. Unfortunately, the experience falls off sharply once you get to the rooms. The bedrooms leave much to be desired. The beds are extremely small—my boyfriend’s feet were literally hanging off—and the mattress felt stiff and uncomfortable. The blankets were so rough they might as well have been made from cardboard. They provide earplugs for a more quiet sleep because the walls are so thin you can hear everything outside of the room. On top of that, the Wi-Fi barely works, which is especially frustrating when traveling for business. I tried the spa during one stay, and while the prices were high, the massage itself was mediocre. Not all of the hotel’s facilities were even operational at the time, which was disappointing given the cost. The staff is generally nice, though the friendliness is hit-or-miss depending on who happens to be working the front desk. Thankfully, the restaurant staff is consistently warm and the service there is very good. Overall, I stay here when I have to for work, but I wouldn’t choose this hotel for comfort—especially when it comes to getting a good night’s sleep. It’s always a rough night, and the style of the place unfortunately doesn’t make up for that.”
