“We had the best evening!! There were 24 of us, including 2 kiddos for a graduation dinner. The patio was a perfect location for our group. Carl was fantastic to work with on the planning and Nicole was fabulous in taking care of us!! Everyone loved their food, especially the cheese curd appetizer. A huge, delish hit with our group!! Thanks for a wonderful evening!!”

“We had such a great experience in the cozy camper igloo! The food and service is always excellent at Gilroy's and this new igloo experience for the winter was so much fun for our group. Josiah took great care of us and made sure it was the right temperature in the igloo. The special seasonal cocktails were delicious. Our group tried all the desserts and wow--can't even pick my favorite!! Don't skip that part! Gilroys took the igloo idea and then went above and beyond with great creativity. We loved it!”

“First time at Gilroy's. We enjoyed the quiet, dark atmosphere on a Wednesday evening. Our server was new, but she was great. The cheese curd appetizer was very good. Our group was happy with their food, which ranged from a burger, Hawaiian Sliders, Fish and Chips, to a large fried chicken platter meal. I'm looking forward to our next stop to try something else from the menu.”

“One of our party ordered the Iowa Chop dinner. The pork chop was thin ( Iowa Chops are normally thick ) def not worth $27. The outside patio area looks nicer on the website then in person, it's pretty much all black and abit drab looking. Waitress was nice. Chicken sandwich was good. Adult mac and cheese good, but not that large of a portion for $19.00. It did take a while to get out food, and it wasn't busy at 2:30 p.m. A wait staff was moving around the patio tables and chairs for literally 15 minutes, pretty much right next to us. The patio floor is a concrete brick material, therefore we listened to a loud scraping noise, felt like we were in a working warehouse. We finally asked her to stop until we were done eating. She expressed she was preparing for a larger group at 4, it was only 3 p.m. Super annoying and pretty rude, would think they would have been more aware of how this was not a pleasant sound/experience. The restaurant decor and food aren't really worth paying the food prices. First time eating there, and the last unfortunately.”

“Writing this review from visit a month ago. Ordered the cheddar burger $20. Yeah, must be awesome right? Not. A frozen puck: tasteless, dry, and inedible. I wouldnt eat it even it was free. To the owner: look up fresh ingredients, quality control, and competence.....then start over. That food should never make it to a table. Won't be back.”
