Ginza Karaoke Spot & BBQ Lounge, in the heart of Barracks Row on Capitol Hill, takes its design cues from Tokyo's Ginza district, which features its most famous shopping, dining and entertainment. The building’s second level, dubbed Ginza Karaoke, is a karaoke lover's haven, split into an array of distinct areas. The largest room can accommodate up to 28 people, while two mid size rooms can accommodate groups of up to 18, and five more smaller rooms can accommodate up to 8 people each. One level up on the third floor, the Ginza BBQ lounge offers a menu of traditional Japanese BBQ favorites. Served alongside a selection of starters and desserts, all can be enjoyed with one of their many unique cocktails. Complete with its own outdoor rooftop patio, the laid-back vibe and welcoming service makes it the perfect spot to unwind, relax, and have an unforgettable meal, During the day, the 3rd level lounge is the perfect spot for a unique take on Afternoon Tea, with a selection of desserts and bubble tea. The desserts include Cake Rolls and Crepe Cakes, which are made from stacked layers of cream and thin crepes, fashioned into a tall cake. Crepe cakes, available by the slice or whole cake, include flavors like White Peach Oolong, Matcha, Thai Tea and Passion Fruit and Cake roll flavors include Taro, Oreo, Red Velvet and Chestnut. All can be paired with Bubble Tea, served in traditional flavors like Brown Sugar, Thai Tea and original.
“Last night was my first time visiting Ginza Karaoke & Rooftop Lounge with my sisters, and we had an absolute blast! We spent two hours there, and it flew by. The appetizers and drinks were delicious, and the atmosphere was fun and welcoming. The host was incredibly friendly and took the time to explain how to use the karaoke machine, which made everything easy and enjoyable from the start. On a side note, I accidentally left my purse in the bathroom. I realized it about an hour later and called the lounge right away. I was so relieved when they told me they had it safely kept at the bar. Their honesty and excellent customer service really stood out. Ginza Karaoke & Rooftop Lounge is a great place to hang out with friends, and we will definitely be back!”
“ACCESSIBILITY AUDIT: This location is wheelchair accessible (though the sidewalks are still not cleared of snow and ice widely enough in the surrounding areas, even from the metro to the location, as of 2/6/26.) Elevators are functional to the right of the stairs but it was originally blocked by a divider and the hallway is narrow which may make it difficult to self-propel (our group had motorized chairs.) The private rooms are spacious enough that they can likely fit 3 wheelchairs. The touchscreen to select songs may be too high for some folks to reach from a wheelchair, especially in the bar area. There were no audio commands for selecting songs, so someone who is blind or low vision would likely need staff or other guests to assist with song selection. Song selection was through YouTube videos with lyrics so you can likely find any song you'd like. No AEDs or first aid kits were visible. There were single stall all-gender restrooms with 1 grab bars that may be too small for some folks to transfer. A chair can only be positioned in front of the toilet, not on either side. There is no changing table or urinal. The blow dryer is also mounted too high for folks in wheelchairs to reach comfortably.”
“Our daughter had her Birthday Party at Ginza. MyvWife and I loved it, and she had a great time with her friends. The Karaoke system was pro grade with excellent sound quality. Karaoke rooms were clean and had very nice lighting. Staff was very friendly. Raul was our event coordinator, and did a wonderful job, plus very friendly and professional. Food service was spot on. My only (tiny) recommendation is for more desert options. We are coming back soon.”
“Good evening, I wanted to share some feedback from my visit tonight, as someone who frequents and supports the establishment. There was a situation involving two patrons that began to escalate. One individual was asked by security to pull his pants up, which he did. However, his friend began to argue and compare the situation to others, creating a scene. I would like to acknowledge that security handled the situation with professionalism, poise, and control. Even while being provoked, they did not escalate the matter and maintained a respectful environment, which I truly appreciated. I understand and respect that this is an inclusive space that welcomes everyone. At the same time, I believe it’s important that clear and consistent boundaries are upheld across the board to ensure a comfortable and respectful environment for all guests. Thank you for your time, and I appreciate the continued effort to maintain a positive atmosphere. Best regards,”
“The service is bad and I’ve been a regular there for two years now. I bring them so many groups and so much money in there. Last Friday I went there and the service was trash. They had employees drinking and taking customers orders. There was a bold female that kept stating that she works there and she kept skipping peoples songs. I ordered wings and when they came out there was a drunk man standing there. He picked up my wing and ate it. I asked if they could remake them and explained the situation. I waited over 20 minutes for new wings and they gave me undercooked wings. When I asked the manager for a refund he began to get very rude and nonchalant. I asked for a refund and he told me they had to put it back on my temporary card which I wasn’t gonna have by the time they refunded it. He didn’t show any concern or make any accommodation for me due to the inconvenience. I ended up just asking for a drink to replace the wings and he gave me a lemon drop with no drop. It was all juice. I went back last night and brought more people and spent more money. I told my friend to go to the female that was working. He walked over to her and told her to over charge up. I got a margarita with Tito’s and a margarita with mango. The only reason we got mango is because that was the only flavor they had. Two $12 drinks. My total was 45 dollars. When I approached the female she got so nasty and told the manager she wasn’t making us another drink or giving us money back. She was so rude and nasty. She still ended with a $10 tip which was definitely lack of judgement. I asked for the tip back. She gave us the small cups and we weren’t accommodated then. Security told me it’s not what I say but how I say it. She would’ve gave me my money back if I didn’t yell. Mind you this is a loud place and the bartender wouldn’t walk back over to the counter so I had to project a little. I’ll place pictures and let you be the judge. They have nasty attitudes and clearly get overstimulated when you come to them with a issue”
