“Where do I start? Was it the warm smiles and genuine welcome when we walked through the door, or the great energy from the hostess? Either way, Good Day Cafe is a must visit when you’re in Oxford. Put it on your schedule. From the moment we arrived, we were given the opportunity to try several items, and everything stood out. I know the cocktail menu changes, but the Ghost of Amelia and Strawberry Fields Forever were outstanding. Now let’s talk about the food. The burger is a must. No questions asked. Just order it. The roasted chicken, brined for 24 hours, was incredible. Don’t overthink it. Get it!! We honestly tried not to eat our way through the entire menu, but everything was that good. The spiced lamb pita was packed with flavor and quickly became one of my favorites. I already need another trip back to try the steak frites, the fried catfish, and the many other cocktails and menu items we didn’t get to this time. Good Day Cafe delivered on every level. Great atmosphere, great service, and even better food.”

“The only thing I hate about this place is that it's so small and hard to get a table; if it weren't, I would go there way more often because the food and drinks are AMAZING (and I'm picky! lol). Had dinner there last night, and it was fantastic. Also, such creative cocktails...it's so refreshing to experience mixology that is not focused on making things sweet, which is so often the case in the South. Thank you, Joseph and crew...you guys are killing it!”

“A great cozy cafe serving up some fantastic fresh meals! Kudos to the chef! The smash burger was simple but so flavorful. The grits bowl was insane actually and I had to pace myself in that 90 degree weather 😭”

“Food and drinks were good as was the service. We each had the smash burger and fries - enjoyed it. Note that they add a 20% "service fee" to each check which is the tip. I didn't give and "additional tip" where space was provided on the check. The noise and traffic from the street was a bit much. Rather sit inside next time.”

“My wife and I were visiting and were looking for a good burger place. We asked someone for a recommendation which led us to Good Day. On the one hand, the menu had just one burger but it was excellent. And the fries thin and crispy. It's a very small place - used to be a gas station - and has some seating inside and some outside. We were there for lunch so can't comment on their dinner menu. They appear to have close to a full bar. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is lacking slightly in decor/setting but otherwise I'd recommended it.”
