“After a day touring Auburn, our campus guide recommended Amsterdam Cafe for a quick lunch before we headed out of town—and I am so grateful they did! The entire meal was exceptional. My husband’s chicken tortilla soup was hearty and full of flavor, my son’s lobster mac and cheese was absolutely outstanding, and my Amsterdam burger was easily the juiciest, best hamburger I’ve had in a while. The house-made sweet potato chips were a fun, delicious surprise, especially paired with the honey mustard sauce. The atmosphere feels like a refined yet casual bar, complete with an impressive wine collection tucked away in the back. To top it off, our server was excellent and provided quick, attentive service. We will definitely make this a mandatory stop whenever we are back in town!”

“Service was phenomenal. Fried green tomatoes were delicious. Short rib did need a little salt (which I don't normally use). Maybe a risotto would have helped with the flavor the pasta lacked. Pork chop grilled to perfection and the sides complimented it perfectly.”

“Straight up had sea bass …good bit salty would order again! Calamari was too breaded couldnt taste it. But the sauce was amazing. Chicken Marsala disappointed. Barely any chicken”

“Service was great here. Everyone was friendly and my group had no issues. The food and drinks were solid, but not amazing. Everything lacked seasoning. The margarita tastes mostly like sour mix. The Manhattan was flat and dull. My pork chop was pretty tasty though.”

“Ordered take out, ordered the teriyaki rice bowl with shrimp. Entire dish was soggy like a soup and flavorless. The shrimp were supposed to be grilled, half of them were blackened the other half boiled 🤷‍♀️. Husband ordered the tacos, these were also quite literally wet. We only live 5 minutes from the restaurant so this is not from the food sitting. This food is too expensive to be this poorly made.”
