Acre is a Southern restaurant in the Auburn neighborhood of Auburn.
“We made reservations and we walked right in and were seated at the bar, our preference. Immediately the bartenders, London and Hunter, took our food and drink orders. The atmosphere was light and fun. They even let us taste the home-made Mexican drink that they made. The food was tasty and well seasoned. The only down side was the food was not warm. They, however, fixed that quickly. I would definitely recommend this place if you want Southern cuisine done with a twist”
“The staff is a delight. My waitress was well versed in all the dishes and gave wonderful recommendations. The cornbread was superb--a must try. I love that they grow all the produce they use on site. Adds to the already cozy atmosphere. I look forward to my next visit.”
“We love a meal at Acre. We’ve enjoyed many dinners and finally got to experience brunch this past weekend for my husband’s birthday with family. A must order is the Fried Green Tomatoes. We also enjoyed the French Toast, Birria Tacos & The Garden & Gun Gal (Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup). The only way to experience dessert is the Dessert Board, the Peanut Butter Pie is my favorite. This is one of the best places in town to celebrate special occasions. It’s always comfortable, service is always great, but I recommend making reservations in advance, especially for dinner.”
“Enjoy our meal! Was hesitant at first because I read a few reviews but decided to give it a try for ourself. Complimentary Valet was great! Our server was Anna Grace and she was fantastic. She was always on it with refilling our water and letting us know what items were out. A few items were sold out but understandable because we had 8:45 reservation. I wanted to try a variety of items. For appetizers, we got pimento cheese with chip, oysters (Alabama Based) and gumbo. The pimento cheese with chip was my favorite. it wasn’t too spicy or sweet ,it was perfect especially paired with the chips. The oysters were alright to me,I’ve had better. Same with the gumbo, nothing to different. For our main, we got the redfish and the duck. Both were fantastic and the sauce from each of the dishes paired well together. The redfish came with potatoes and the redfish had this sauce that was the perfect pairing. The duck was paired with this dark maple sauce and ginger risotto. The duck was cooked to perfection and paired really well with the maple sauce. They balance each other well. We got our desserts to go. We wanted to try it all so we opt for the dessert board. (Still haven’t rigged into those yet but from the meal we had I’m sure it’s Fantastic too) Happy that this was an option! Overall, I would give it a 8/10.”
“It’s NYE 2025. Arrived 7:30 left 10p. Took a while for food to arrive . The duck was good. The tenderloin was delicious. I didn’t care for any of the desserts. Limited selection. I don’t like chocolate, pb or bread pudding. My friends ordered it.. Super sweet. The chocolate cake was very dense not moist. The bread pudding was loaded with sugar !”
