Hobnob is a family-friendly, casual restaurant featuring a seasonal menu developed by owner and chef Tracey Thoroman. The ambiance is cozy, the decor is modern, and our two patios allow diners to eat alfresco throughout all four seasons. Don't miss the made-from-scratch cakes, pies, and sweet treats!
“I can't recommend this place enough. We got the gouda burger with onion rings, the strawberry goat cheese salad (with grilled chicken), the chocolate peanut butter pie and the strawberry panna cotta. All this plus two sodas was $55 including tax, before tip. Everything was delicious and prepared with fresh ingredients. Our waitress was very nice and even offered sodas to go. The decor is beautiful including art from local artist Matt Lively. They even have a mural outside. Don't miss this place if you're visiting the botanical garden or happen to be in the area.”
“Had dinner with a friend and sat on the patio. My 1st time and Kristins 2nd. Food was excellent, service as well. We ordered 2 appetizers & 2 meals and shared, then ordered desserts. 😋😋😯”
“I had such a great experience at Hobnob! We started with the deviled eggs topped with a fried oyster, and WOW—those were truly next level. Easily a 10/10 and something I’d come back for just on their own. I also ordered the avocado salmon Benedict, which was absolutely delicious and a very generous portion. Everything tasted fresh and well put together. The ambiance was fun and had a really strong sense of community, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Service was quick, friendly, and attentive without feeling rushed. The only small downside was the lack of background music—it made some of the quieter moments feel a bit awkward. Overall, such a great spot and I will definitely be returning!”
“I cannot say enough good things about our first visit to Hobnob last night! First, I always assumed this place was out of our price range, but it is actually extremely reasonable. For an appetizer, two entrees, a glass of wine, and a dessert, we spent less than $100! We had: -Fried Oysters: Absolutely wonderful! -Shrimp & Grits: I’m not typically a "shrimp and grits person," but this meal literally changed my mind. It was one of the best meals of my life. Rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked! -Grilled Pork Chop: My husband loved his pork chop, though even he had to admit my shrimp and grits stole the show! -Rum Raisin Crème Brûlée: You can tell this is made in-house. It’s rare to actually taste the rum in a dessert, but this was spot on! We sat on the patio, which was covered and heated, making it incredibly comfortable even for an outdoor seat. Our waitress was wonderful and let us know that the menu changes five times a year. We are officially hooked and will definitely be back for all the seasons. Go! You will not be disappointed!”
“We popped in for an early dinner with our mid '80s parents. To our surprise, even at that hour we needed a reservation. They were able to accommodate us on the screened patio. I was concerned that with the temps in the 40s we werent going to be comfortable but the heaters worked amazing and even my elderly parents were quite warm (they're ALWAYS cold). The service was really nice not rushed, I'd call it "laid back". I reall liked the menu and the prices were really pretty reasonable. The mushroom soup was outstanding! Lots of fresh, not over cooked mushrooms. It was excellent. As were the Pork Belly Bahn Mi and the Smash Burger. I would not recommend the steaks. If you do, and I cant as a meatatarian believe Im saying this, order med well. My 85 yr old father in law ordered the med well but it came out medium to medium rare. He kept saying it tasted good but was chewy. We didnt pay that much attention until he said he couldnt eat any more because his jaws hurt. I tried a piece and it was like chewing on a rubber band. The desserts were good and a good variety. It was very nice of them to comp us one for the steak mix up. I would definitely go back and most likely will. It was one of the rare menus that so much looked good that I would like to experience more.”
