“Are you looking for a hotel near Zurich, Horgen? Look no further, book Hotel Schwan! During our week-long stay, the owners made us feel very welcome. The rooms are very spacious and extremely clean, and in the restaurant, you can enjoy the most delicious dishes that have nothing to do with schnitzel or bratwurst. Our dog has been spoiled… he even received a bed in the restaurant, never seen ! Breakfast is extremely good with lots of choices (fruits, yoghurts, Salmon, different meats, eggs….) . In summertime you can sit outside on a cute romantic terrace. For us no doubt…we come back !”
“Sabrina and Pascal are excellent hosts. We have stayed at the hotel many times and always receive a warm welcome. The breakfast includes both hot and cold buffets and is always excellent. Very comfortable bed and cosy quilt”
“+Super friendly staff. +Very good breakfast. +Very family friendly. +Cot for baby provided. +5 mins walk from the train station or the lake. +Self check in. +Check in at 3pm, check out 11am. +Comfy room. +Toiletries provided. +Nespreso coffee machine in the room. +100% recommended! -Mattress was too soft. -Lift did not work (but this was not a big issue). -Funny smell coming out from the bathroom... eventually went away.”
“Planning a trip to the Zurich area of Switzerland? Look no further than staying at the Hotel Schwan in Horgen situated a short 30 minutes train ride from Zurich Airport. We stayed at this well run small hotel managed by Pascal Rhyner and Sabrina Nickel in September and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice of accommodation. Located on Lake Zurich we enjoyed this small hotel for its Swiss hospitality, excellent food and friendly service. As for convenience of location, we enjoyed Horgen plus we had day trips to Lucerne, Zurich and a scenic public ferry ride on the lake to Rapperswil. This was a thoroughly enjoyable stay. “Great helpful staff,extremely friendly. Hotel and room very clean,great amenities. Fantastic tea, breakfast delicious. Would highly recommend if staying any where near Zurich easy train access and less expensive than in the city. Fantastic 14th century inn with timber beams, large bed with thick donnas.
