“It’s hard to find a restaurant that serves traditional Japanese breakfast, so this is a treat for sure. Kadence is already a respected sushi restaurant, so definitely come for sushi, but if you want to eat at Kadence more affordably for an equally special meal, come for breakfast. “Well, it has taken me way too long to finally make it but I was extra proactive on this trip to my hometown and booked a spot early. What an experience! I can't recommend it enough. I think we had courses coming for something like 3.5 hours. I've done tasting menus before but this was on a whole other level. Mark and Jen were spectacular hosts and Mark had us dying laughing between moments of food induced ecstasy and educational question answering. If you have the chance to make it, I'd say it lives up to the hype for sure.”
