Founded in 2009 and named in honor of winemaker Katy Wilson’s great grandmother, Veona LaRue Newell, LaRue Wines is a family-owned boutique winery rooted in family, passion, hard work, and respect for the land. More than 15 years after its first vintage, LaRue remains intentionally small, producing only 500 cases each year, with every aspect of the business personally managed by Katy and her husband, David Meneses. LaRue produces ultra-premium Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from sustainably farmed vineyards along the western Sonoma Coast, alongside cellar-worthy Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc from renowned Sonoma vineyards. Through thoughtful vineyard selection, minimal intervention winemaking, and small-lot production, each wine reflects the character of its place and vintage.
