Laughing Stock Vineyards

“Laughing Stock is no "laughing stock". It won Best small winery in Canada in the 2025 National Wine Awards. Its location is wonderful, high on a hill, overlooking the lake and vineyards below. The tasting area has a splendid terrace where one can sit and take in the view while sampling their exceptional wines. We were hosted by Kaitlyn (? Sorry if we got the name wrong), who was friendly and informative. Standouts from the tasting included the chardonnay and syrah. Highly recommend visiting this winery!”

“I recently enjoyed a visit to Laughing Stock Vineyards whilst traversing the KVR Trail. You could reach their tasting room very easily from the KVR Trail. We did a tasting with Jordan. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. He was happy to answer questions and discuss their wines, and you could see he had a huge love for what he does. The wines were all very enjoyable, and definitely some of the best reds we tried whilst exploring the wineries. We left with a bottle of their Chardonnay as it was wonderful. I would definitely stop by Laughing Stock Vineyards - it was a great spot with fantastic views and equally fantastic wines!”

“Some very nice wines here. Lovely view. They were a bit busy. They have a fun idea of giving you a couple of the glasses of wine and letting you see if you can figure out the varieties. They have a charging station- not sure if it’s public use.”
