“Great restaurant with very high quality great tasting food. We loved the Gambas al ajillo, and fish and chips. Also a very nice mocktail! Great views of the coast and we had the nicest waiter Ashley who made us feel very welcome and was so sweet!”

“I’ve eaten at luxury restaurants all over the world and this is genuinely some of the best food I’ve ever had. The bolognese for dinner was 10/10. The hot cakes for breakfast completely blew my socks off. I was stunned. The flavours in everything were Michelin star-worthy. Can’t wait to be back”

“We stayed at Little River Inn and had dinner at the restaurant during our visit. Although our table was not ocean view and was mostly garden view, we learned that only the bar area has the full ocean view. The service was amazing. Our waitress was incredibly attentive and kind, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The food was excellent as well. We especially loved the clam chowder, rockfish, and steak. The wine, offered by the half bottle, was also very reasonably priced. Overall, we were very pleasantly surprised and had a wonderful dining experience. We will definitely be back the next time we visit the Mendocino area.”

“If you are in the restaurant itself, don’t expect an ocean view. That was the only downside for us eating here. The clam chowder is delicious and highly -recommended. We also had the chicken and catch of the day, both were well prepared and good portions at fair prices. The service was friendly and attentive. We would dine here again.”

“My wife and I made a reservation and came for dinner. We were staying nearby and thought this would be a nice experience. The restaurant is nice, quiet, has good views and the overall atmosphere is pleasant. The food on the other hand was very disappointing for the price. My wife got a ceasar salad and a bowl of soup for $29. Sadly, the salad was made with brown lettuce. I got a simple burger and fries for $25 - overpriced for what it was but passable. The worst part is, a 20% gratutity is automatically added to every order. You don't get a choice to tip good service and food. That made my wife's poor dinner almost $32 and my simple burger $30. We would not go there again. Spend the extra few minutes driving to Mendocino and get better food for less money.”
