“Lula Cellars was by far one of our favorite vineyards we visited. Ken was hosting the tasting room during our visit. He was friendly, knowledgeable about the wines, and offered us fun/interesting facts about the area. The tasting area was dog and baby friendly (we had our 6 month old son, and 4 year old border collie). Ken even gave our pup a few treats, making them good buds. The wines were all amazing- each one was better than the last, making it hard to decide which one to take home! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and hope to visit again in the future.”
“Warm, personal, fun, great customer service. Atmosphere outside facing the vineyards was enjoyable as we watched the wildlife and listened to the birds. Exceptional Pinot and wines your can't get anywhere else. We will definitely go back! Thank you Ken and Kim.”
“Coming back from the Mendocino coast, I knew I wanted to stop along Hwy 128 at a winery or two to check out the Anderson Valley wine region. We couldn’t have made a better choice than Lula! Dan and our host Kim were so warm and welcoming. I’ve been to a lot of wineries and it’s that friendly spirit that really makes wine tasting so enjoyable, and this is an experience I’ll remember as one of the best! We really enjoyed the wine itself, too, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality of wine. The property was also lovely and Kepler kept us entertained. Any wonder we joined the wine club on a whim! We made one additional winery stop before heading home, and while the wines were also tasty the experience didn’t even compare.”
“Lula Cellars is a quaint vineyard located at the “deep end” of Anderson Valley. They produce mainly Pinot Noirs and, during our visit, offered an estate Gewurtzraminer which was more on the dry side. It was nice. The tastings are $10 and the pours are generous. Shout out to Anastasia for being hospitable. Definitely worth considering when visiting the valley.”
“We stopped here on our way to Mendocino based on the 4.9 Google rating. Granted it was a Monday in late February but this is likely the worst wine tasting we’ve done in Northern California. I don’t know the man’s name. He’d pour the wine, say what it was and disappear. We learned nothing about the vineyard or the wines. Maybe if this was a free tasting it’d be ok. You would learn more from a friendly bartender.”
